  1. And his man card revoked for life.
  2. I cannot imagine a situation where I would want Marcia and the boys to win unless it was required in order for the Bills to make the playoffs.
  3. Pretty much anything but running back.
  4. I can't too hard on him, what with the dream team being the nightmare team and all.
  5. It isn't that he drops a lot of passes. Only a lot of the BIG passes, you know, like game winners. I don't want him gone, but don't make him out to be the second (third because of Tebow? ) coming either, because he is not.
  6. Ralph is cheap so he wouldn't have to pay this guys moving expenses
  7. Or maybe, just maybe, he is telling the truth. I know that's a radical and unpopular thought here.
  8. Why wouldn't they? 4-12 followed by 6-10. Out of the playoffs for all practical purposes by December ... again. Lack of sellouts, or even close to a sellout, the last few games of the season. Not even close to the playoffs for the last 12 years. OBD would have to be a group of complete morons to not think seasons will take another hit this year. It is a tribute to the Bills fans spirit (or their stupidity, depending upon your view) that they sell as many as they will given the state of the team.
  9. One of the reasons for keeping Gailey was stability. In Gaileys pass happy offense these two assistants would be the most important (along with the line coach). Certainly not a death blow to the Bills, particularly after the dirty dozen. But if stability is something desired, coaches leaving on their own is not a good thing.
  10. A serviceable QB to me needs to be considerably more accurate than Fitz is capable of. But we will see.
  11. One was fired which was very expected, but two offensive coaches leaving on their own is never a good thing. Now not only are there holes regarding players, but in the coaching staff as well. Hopefully they can get at least comparable (if not better) replacements.
  12. 4-2 followed up by 6-10 with a big losing streak for good measure and no scrutiny of the HC/OC. Interesting. I wonder why. Is the local media that wimpy or were they given a list of do's and do not's maybe.
  13. Duh. He signed Gailey, and he gave Fitz a [too] big contract. To admit to either of the things you listed would be an admission that he screwed up.
  14. We already have one MeFirst on the Bills. Having two, particularly playing the same position, would be a catastrophe.
  15. "Too early to say, we are evaluating all options" Though one would hope that would be settled well before the draft.
  16. From what I read, the broncos D deserves the majority of the credit for the entire season. Tebow and co. did come through in the clutch on several occasions however and therefore got most of the credit. The Broncos D and Tebow both have my blessing to stomp Marcia into the turf this weekend.
  17. "Jerry Sunshine" .... heh
  18. I watched that game because my son likes Tebow, and I'm not sure how you got lucky out of that game. If anyone got lucky I'd say the Steelers did with that horribly blown call on the backwards pass that was recovered by Denver. If you are talking about all season, then I don't know. I didn't watch them except for yesterday and when the Bills beat them. But I haven't heard the word lucky used about the Broncos this season except by you. Tebow just seems to find a way to win, in college or so far as a pro. Can't fault him for that. In fact we could use some of that in the B-lo.
  19. 1) He made it to the playoffs. 2) He won.
  20. About the business aspect? A player would have to be a moron not to listen to the advice of a good professional agent. I'm sure there is the occasional exception, some player with the business smarts to see a better option than the agent does. But every other time the player should STFU, play the game, and let the agent work out all the other stuff. Look at Peters now. Making good bank, playing for a better franchise, and living in what most would consider a much better city. And the only down side is that some Bills fans don't like him. You can't believe he made the wrong decision.
  21. No. But when he tells Nix that's his biggest need, Nix has to listen.
  22. The good news about Wanny is he isn't coming to the Bills cold. He has a season with the unit already. If he is capable of turning the defense around he should be able to do it next season. Personally I think he should have had enough influence as assistant HC to make a difference this year, but we will see.
  23. Uhhhhhhhh the same team with one winning season during that same time period?
  24. Because they are local, I enjoy going to the tailgate and to training camp, and I have some kind of connection to the team. But football is so god awful slow moving in the first place, then you inject the constant TV commercials. Makes it unbearable for me to watch if it is not the Bills. Even at the game it becomes unbearable as the players stand around waiting for the commercials (playing on the scoreboard no less) to finish. If I recorded it and skipped the commercials and all the dead time between plays it would be OK to watch. I remember a couple years ago when I had seasons there was one game where a couple transformers went out and there was no power for TV transmission. That meant no stoppages for commercials and that was the most enjoyable football game I've ever been to. Ultimately I am a Bills fan only, not a football fan at all anymore. And you are right, to each his own.
