  1. Well that depends on what you think the right thing is. Personally I don't think any tax money should fund any stadium improvements. But Cuomo will do what every politician does, do what he thinks gives him the best chance at re-election.
  2. Ravens fan? Not sure where you came up with that. The fork was in them early again this season, really doesn't matter if you or I like it or not.
  3. Well this ravens fan sure seems to blame Flacco ... and a host of others
  4. I don't buy any kind of lingering injury. With rib injuries, particularly ones bad enough that it hurts to breathe, you see indications in how people move, walk, run etc.. Fitz threw the same (motion wise), and not only did he run the same and just as often, he did not slide but went in head first and drove for additional yards. QBs with rib injuries would NOT do this. Not even IronMan FitzMagic.
  5. I am probably in the minority, but I want to see the SB only played indoors. Not for the fan comfort, I just don't want weather to play a part in the outcome. But if it is to be outdoors, it doesn't get much better than SD.
  6. How about the meadowlands, an outdoor stadium, in Feb of 2014. Maybe they just took a look and decided that spending $15,000 to go to Indy and see a football game was just stupid. I have no love for Marcia and the girls Lord knows, but I would certainly understand that decision. To me it may be less about not "representing" and more about not being a sucker.
  7. Is there such a thing as a franchise long snapper is my question.
  8. Bingo. Plus he could certainly get a job as a QB coach if not a OC. By everything I read he had an office with the Colts coaches and was more or less an assistant OC the past few seasons anyway. He absolutely has many post playing options. I also think he would be better than any of the player talking heads that the networks employ now.
  9. "Mental toughness" is 100% BS and is generally a losers excuse after the fact, in my opinion anyway.
  10. The Bills are almost forced to pay him #1 WR money, whether he is worth it or not. What other team is going to do that? He holds the position of power in the negotiations with the Bills and will end up getting close to what he is asking for. He wants to be in Buffalo unless he is really as stupid and immature as some of his antics might lead you to believe.
  11. This ^^^ Or like in the case of the Bills this past season, all of the above.
  12. It's also useless to speculate because there is no chance a first vote HOFer like Manning is going to close out his career, and risk permanent serious injury, on a bottom dweller team.
  13. Could you imagine the uproar if the NFL tried to blackout a superbowl to the teams cities primary markets for not selling out. I can't imagine the game not selling out though. Even in Indy and even at those prices. Most if not all of the inflated prices are from resellers. If they don't sell they will lower the price or go themselves. There will be a butt in the seat come game time
  14. Metro area? You realize the stadium is in Foxboro Mass, a good 40 minute drive from Boston.
  15. With the Stache already in the organization this isn't as crazy as it might sound.
  16. Burned out by success huh. I wonder what that is like.
  17. Dude that's a lot of if's. You forgot one, clicking their heels twice and saying "there's no place like the playoffs"
  18. Hey don't confuse the issue with facts. Pats fans are not REAL fans because they won't pay $15000 to go to Indy to watch the game, got it!
  19. You used the two Bills buzz words ... "if" and "pray".
  20. $1000 for the ticket (assuming you can get them at face), air fare, hotel (not cheap during the SB I'm sure) for some number of days plus normal expenses like food (and beer ). Times two if you are bringing a wife/date/kid. I'm sure some would do it. Just wonder how many could afford it.
  21. Makes me wonder how many average Joe season ticket holders actually go to the Superbowl as opposed to wealthy fair weather fans there mainly for the party.
  22. This. Plus I imagine the majority of Pats fans will see the game. They will just see it like you and I will, on a TV at home or at a party with friends and save themselves the $10K. Besides $2500 per ticket minimum to see a !@#$ing football game? Come on man that is crazy. But a fool and his money are soon parted. And I guess in this case it is the Giants fans who are the bigger fools
  23. Giants fans are more psychotic than Pats fans. Plus $2500 might not be a lot of money to someone living in NYC because the of cost of living (and subsequently the salaries) there.
  24. Mainly the economy I think. Between tickets, hotel etc. its a lot of money to spend just to party and see a football game live.
