  1. They will, or already have, discussed it in meetings and that will be the end of it. It serves no purpose to discuss it publicly.
  2. Eliminates the purpose of divisions and would make the rule of playing teams twice in your own division every year pointless. So while I see what you mean, no I do not think it is a good idea.
  3. You have the Bills winning 4 of the remaining 5 huh. Losing only to the Pats* in the last game?
  4. And the Bills played the Jets ... twice.
  5. Cleveland is beatable, particularly in Buffalo. Denver suddenly seems like they can be beaten as well if the D line can get to Manning like they got to dog killer last night and Woods and Watkins can both play like Woods did last night. But GB and NE* seem like superbowl contenders lately. The Bills can certainly make it entertaining, let's see if they do.
  6. My kids could do a better job and would do it for dinner at dave & busters.
  7. Good luck with that. No QB, train wreck of a roster, As hard as it is for the Bills to attract a quality coach, it will be that much harder for the Jets right now.
  8. Really? The entire upper deck was empty it seemed. What is the capacity of that place, 100K?
  9. Woods Lions organization
  10. Ahhhhh ..... no they are not. The D can go toe to toe with anyone, but the offense is nowhere near the top tier yet. It was a great all around team effort last night to be sure and one to be proud of. But the Jets are a absolute train wreck this season. And their performance last night was enough to get the entire team, coaching staff, and front office fired. A complete and total embarrassment. As much as the Bills have QB issues, how bout them Jets huh. Wow.
  11. To me since as you stated we do not know if Beckham would have made those plays or not, you cannot draw any direct conclusions other than that Watkins did make them. But fair enough.
  12. So that makes Watkins worth the extra 1st?
  13. That sums up my view very well on the point brought up by the OP.
  14. i don't follow football much, college football not at all. So no, I had no opinion pre-draft one way or the other. Not saying I called this prior to the draft. I am not a GM and being paid to be able to grade players to that degree. I'm saying that looking back now, to me the better move would have been to take Beckham and not give up next years first round pick. That is all. And I believe that was the point the OP was trying to make as well way back 16 pages ago. i did say on draft day however, that I thought the price paid for Watkins (next years first) was too high.
  15. Sammy is good, I don't think anyone is disputing that. The question in my mind anyway is, is Watkins better than Beckham. And if so, is he better enough that you would prefer to keep Watkins and give up next years first? Or would you take Beckham and keep next years first. In my mind, at least at this point in time, I'd take Beckham and next years first.
  16. Based on the last line of the linked article it seems possible that the "victim" may just be trying to get paid. Hopefully there is video.
  17. His clock management really sucked yesterday. Particularly at the end of the first half. Marrone worthy in fact.
  18. Hey now ... the Bills have earned the right to be called mediocre. The Jets have not! Lets not overstate things!
  19. I mentioned to my wife that I was puzzled as to why people in Detroit would want to go to a game between a bad team and a mediocre team, neither of which was from Detroit. She had an interesting thought. Detroit is even more economically depressed than Buffalo, so maybe a lot of people cannot afford to go to a Lions game but are jumping at the chance to go to a free (or at least should be) game.
  20. Nothing against Sammy, but hindsight being 20/20 I'd rather have Beckham and next years first. And that TD catch tonight was just sick ... and he made it look easy.
  21. I suspect the Lions fans don't blame Scwartz for it. Just the Bills players for doing it. If the Lions were playing at the Ralph under similar circumstances, would Bills fans become Lions fans for the day? Highly unlikely. They would be largely neutral, which is what I expect in Detroit tomorrow night.
