  1. That's why I said "seemingly" It was a very short time though, as soon as he realized he had no real control he quit. Ryan Miller was the last straw I think. Winning too much? 14-20-3
  2. Makes me flash back to that ridiculous PR signing of Pat LaFontaine as director of hockey operations for the sabres. Only to have him quit seemingly the next day. That was under Pegula ownership as well.
  3. You could limit the number of posts users can make to one per minute or 5 minutes even.
  4. Don't know much about the hardware stuff, but unless the site in DC boasts much higher bandwidth I doubt moving the server there would have much of an impact. This is just text, we aren't downloading 4 gb DVD images or anything.
  5. I didn't even know there were ads until I went and looked on the main page after reading this post. My bookmark comes right to the stadium wall. Maybe put ads here as well?
  6. To some fans in this world, playoff games are also a dime a dozen
  7. I didn't misunderstand. I am very familiar with how Pegula has run the Sabres so far. There obviously will be salary constraints, perhaps less restrictive than under previous ownership but Pegula almost certainly will not overspend. There is no reason to believe having this new owner, who undoubtedly will keep the team in Buffalo, is going to help resigning players or luring top players to Buffalo. The NFL is a business first, to players and owners alike. One 9-7 record in 15 years, albeit a good first baby step, is not the superbowl or close to it. Facilities and travel, really? And last but not least, downplaying the QB issue is ludicrous. It is a HUGE glaring problem, now more prominent with Ortons retirement and no first round pick in the upcoming draft to either use or barter with. Well, the cupboard is far from bare I suppose due to defense, special teams, and Watkins, so that statement is true as well. But I find the majority of that post to make no sense at least to me. Now if Manuel suddenly becomes a NFL QB, then the cupboard is not only not bare, but it becomes pretty damn full. But Manuel is far from there at the moment, IMO.
  8. Kate Upton, 10000000000% the date. Erin, only if she has a drinking problem to the point I'd have a decent chance of getting her in bed with the video rolling.
  9. What?? The only thing that makes any sense here is the bolded.
  10. Kyle Orton. "Hey Kyle, I know you want to spend time with your kids and all, but how about 7 mil for one more season guaranteed? I'm sure we can find some ex-Jills who could use a paycheck babysitting your kids for the season." If Manuel somehow magically becomes at least serviceable, Orton becomes the vet backup/mentor. If Manuel continues to suck, Orton plays out the season while the Bills figure out what to do, plus at least they have a first round pick in 2016.
  11. I agree with many that at this point the Bills may not have much of a choice other than Manuel, whether they like it or not. Maybe they could throw some money at Orton and talk him off of the couch again. But that's just putting a band-aid on the problem.
  12. Now THERE is a Bills fan talking!!!
  13. He hasn't been out of Detroit long enough for GMs to forget.
  14. I would love to look at this thread in an alternate universe where Suh stepped on EJ Manuel or Kyle Ortons ankle
  15. Am I missing something? During the game on TV yesterday they had a Polian quote 100% denying taking a job with the Bills. Why is this thread still going?
  16. The Bills were REALLY lucky this year. They had put all of their eggs in the EJ basket, but after camp realized how much he had regressed. They were lucky they got Orton off of the couch and that he did as well as he did. Hell, maybe Favre wants to get off the couch for a while?
  17. The one here shows it much more clearly. But even in that one, you can see he puts all of his weight on the 2nd step knowing full well he is not standing on ground. https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/8B7E872DDB1161142806417653760_3e9fe9bbc83.1.4.11955095508783304649.mp4?versionId=t7zMTWXvgsgyPv6qf679189bILT0jZei
  18. Not that surprising. Players tell other players more than they do coaches or GMs.
  19. That is so weird. I would have bet money that Marrone and Whaley both new days if not weeks ago. I mean, Orton must have known some time ago in order to do it this morning. Gotta respect him for doing it now though instead of holding out for a roster bonus or whatever next season. This gives the Bills as much time as possible to find a starter.
  20. You never know, he could have scalped tickets and gone
  21. I disagree 100%. The first one maybe, the second one where he lifted his other foot off of the ground to put all of his weight on the ankle, you must be insane or a Lions homer to think it was questionable. According to a CBS (related anyway it seems) website, suspended for the playoff game against the cowgirls. http://det.247sports...wboys--34206487
  22. There is all that matters But of course she needs to be there until there is a loss, you have to respect the streak! Oh, and I like the "yet" in your post
  23. With a decent QB the Bills make the playoffs for sure. If they manage to shore up the OL as well, they could go deep.
