  1. Like I said... lounging around the gold coast gay beaches with: 2 Great Facilities 3 Great Weather & Area to live Tampa being a better area to live is open to debate (laugh on). Hurricanes, tornados, traffic, high crime, expensive real estate...
  2. Buffalo-NC versus Tampa-NC are practically the same distance via car. I can guarantee Buffalo Bill Cowher would make up any slight time differential in air travel by way of ease of getting thru Buffalo-Niagara airport versus the daily mess at the Tampa airport. Nevertheless, Clayton is a little piece of wood that fuels the fire of God's wrath. Leviticus 18. A twink. So 'out of touch' with this situation that he believe's Haslett is embraced by the Buffalo community...? I'll admit, I actually like Jim, but I've read/heard NOTHING but local hate for Jim Haslett. Mark Tressman... come on... who's gonna buy tickets... no way. We will land the biggest fish we can get our hook on. If Cowher really wants to prove his ability- this is it. Lounging around tropical places like Tampa or Carolina would be a total cop out on his part, although being close to home, I can understand. But where's the TV studio he's been at every Sunday the last 2 years located... close to home? If I were the top-rated coach out there... I'd be salivating at this opportunity... to show-off AND be a savior + legend.
  3. More interesting on the silly espn insider club page is: There is currently chatter that Denver will part ways with Kyle Orton and start over. As mentioned by one other bight soul in this thread- Orton would be the guy to pursue. Perhaps a trade wouldn't even be required? All the dude does is win. He is not from CA (Iowa), played collegiately at Perdue, and, as we all know as devout fans of American football, Chicago & Denver professionally. For useless atmospheric trivia: Iowa = cold, West Lafayette, Indiana = cold, Chicago = cold, and Denver = cold. According to Wikipedia, Orton was ranked the no. 2 QB in the country coming out of high school. This guy has seen snow and frozen breath vapor before... and he's only 27. Reminds me a little of Rich Gannon- kicking around the league (and being under-appreciated) before founding a home with Al Davis. We could pretend Orton is JP, only winning games... Career Stats G GS W-L Cmp. Att. Cmp.% Yards Avg. TD Int. Long Sacked SackYards Lost QB Rating 46 45 29-16 763 1,323 57.7% 8,223 6.2 46 35 87 80 479 76.6
  4. ...because there's soooo much else to talk about... in your opinion... Wrap yourself in two layers of denim and go jump in a frozen pond. Stay there. Or, better yet, tie a spiral ham to each leg and go for a walk thru the Everglades. Bye. Loosen up, ya jerk. At least Sal is entertaining and provides a glimmer of hope. If you don't like it- beat it.
  5. Here's a more interesting scenerio... The Bladed Bowling Ball (Kyle Williams) sacks Manning- out for remainder of the year with concussion and separated shoulder. Fans and media ask, "why was Manning playing into the third quarter of a meaningless game?"
  6. This is an option worth jawing about. Jaws as GM and the Iron Jaw Buffalo Bill Cowher on the sideline. These other "proven" GM candidates that are continuously mentioned... Ron Wolf, Floyd Reese, etc... why exactly are they available? My guess is that they were fired from their previous teams? Lets' not fall prey to closing the door on brilliant minds due to lack of experience. I'll take a great mind motivated by fullfilling a dream any day of the week versus an old retread with set old ways. We should agree that the institution of cronyism this past decade has f'd things up to a great extent- TD placing Mike Mularky, Ralph placing Marv, Marv placing Limp Dick Jauron... Fresh meat powered by ambitious dreams is what we need.
  7. ...so, would everyone feel better about the whole situation if Russ pulls (yet) another marketing rabbit out of his arse and goes for a uni change this offseason... specifically to the throwbacks?
  8. This is fantastic speculation, since it would make for one less avenue for our Buffalo Bill Cowher. There's no way he would work under TD. Amen for the ministry. This should also get the Vick out of the equation. See how I said Speculation... that means, if it were to happen...
  9. WHY, ARE THERE DEFINITIVE RUMOURS FLYING AROUND REGARDING HASLETT AND/OR NOLAN? (f'ing caps) I happen to like Haslett, but right now is probably too sensitive of a time for he to be considered as HC. I'm all for him coming on as DC, perhaps moving into that role down the line (if there is success).
  10. Take it easy twink. It's just a post. Besides, no one ever listens to the fans anyway, so does it really matter what we discuss and/or what order. Take the Canoli out of your butt and loosen up. Honestly though, I don't really care who's in charge of Face Book operations, and all the posts re: GM's are mostly boring.
  11. Trade down, Draft a LT (mid-first) + Tony Pike (top 2nd) , then a RT (bottom 2nd or top third). After that- LB, LB, LB. Looks to be plenty of DL's to be FA's.
  12. HE'S THE one with the most experience with bonas.
  13. Well, it's like this thru my eyes... If a coach (lets' say William Cower) really wanted to prove his coaching prowess & worth... he would be looking for exactly what the Bills have to offer... complete shambles from top-to-bottom, yet a young team of underachievers with decent talent and a bad taste in their mouths from loosing so many games they should have won thank to crappy coaching. If this can team can be fixed- Thou responsible's a$$ shall be bronzed. PS- T.O.: Don't forget to give that key back before you leave next Sunday.
  14. Because they let the 5 others that they SHOULD have won get away due to poor coaching and lack of motivation (which circles the wagon back to bad coaching).
  15. Too many 3-4's out there now. We need something different + innovative. I like the idea of drafting the best players available and building the O & D schemes around them. Following suit, you sign a couple high-profile and a couple bargain FA's that fit the mold.
  16. I don't like any of those options. I do like trading a 4th rnd for Sage Rosenfels.
  17. Right. Guess WE should have made that big trade for Matt cassell. Bottom line is that there hasn't been much of anything available (for QB's) over the last 2-3 years. Aside from Farve coming back from the dead this year, there hasn't been any successful MAJOR QB moves since N.O. landing Brees. ...maybe could have been... Schaub... zzzz Garcia... zzzz It's a desolate market sector.
  18. Right, the AFC log jam at 7-7 = dead parity. Look peeps, there's a dangerous thing called freedom of speach. Don't believe everythang you read. Especially from turds like Tim Keown. Who's he... Mel Kuypers old bendover rag bag twink? Parity dead in the NFL is just a stupid thing to say. Take a look at our opponant this week. Pete Rozelle- cold, dead & grinning at the 'parity' of his accomplishment.
  19. Gee, does that mean that 7-9 is in jeopardy?
  20. I've brought this up before and it seemed to be a mystery. What ever happened to Dave Staaba? Week- in, Week-out, he'd have something in the name of he Niagara Falls Reporter to say on TBD. Dave always new where to point the finger and where to try new wings. His verbage seethingly poignant and truthfully consolating- generally in defeat... and always straight-up and sobering in victory. Someone made an attempt to take his place, but was most probably slaughtered by his own boring rhetoric. If someone still has contact with Dave- urge his return. Things may just be getting interesting in WNY. Sabes look pretty good.
  21. wHEN i TURNED THE GAME ON LAST NIGHT, Fletcher was point-blank in process of getting burnt downfield on a pass that I've seen 50 time before to the detriment of Royal Blue & Crimson Red. Guys who can tackle the opponant DOWNFIELD FOR A huge GAIN are a dime-a-12. Beat it you twink & take this post w/ you. Write a thread about Ray Lewis if you want to talk about a LB who can still play. With 5-6 lines, LT could probably still play better than Fletcher.
  22. Last I checked, we and the rest of the NFL world know nothing of what Brohm can do. With that said, how can he possibly be deemed 'the future' at this juncture? Now's a good time to throw him out there and see if he can sprain an ankle. PS- Roscoe Parrish sux balz.
