  1. Forrest Gump says: WE GOTTA SIGN BUUUBBBAAAA!!!
  2. http://msn.foxsports.com/rumors/nfl#627 Willis McGahee might be the Ravens' biggest bust acquisition in team history, as he signed a seven-year, $40 million contract in March 2007 after the Ravens had traded three draft picks to the Buffalo Bills for him. If the Ravens could, I think they would fast-forward his exit right out of Baltimore. -- Baltimore Sun
  3. what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
  4. Before Trent, we had a scrambling passer (debatable...). The coaching staff decided to put in an offense that involves quick decisions from the pocket. Vick isn't that guy at all. Unless there is a major overhaul in the coaching staff and/or the direction of the team, I dont see it happening. It would be interesting to see him in a wildcat role, but not as our #1 QB.
  5. That article reads like a message board post. No offense ; ) I get that the celebration was a bit excessive. The "Key to the City" thing actually reminded me of the scene in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" where the small town finally gets a "Burger Barn". Maybe it was the marching band... Seriously though, cut Buffalo some slack and stop taking this so seriously. What have Bills fans really had to cheer for lately? No need to bring up the negatives, we all know what they are. The board is littered with them. It's nice to actually have a glimmer of hope that this season could actually turn out well. If TO is the guy to give us that hope....great! Give him the keys to Ralph's Taurus too and let him tear sh*t up all over town!
  6. The Herd can be really entertaining at times, but it's really hard to take him seriously. This is the same guy, who during record heat here for the Dallas MNF game, said "no one would tune in to see the Bills get killed in 0 degree weather and 3 feet of snow". If he wants to waste air time with "its cold in buffalo" and "TO is going to ruin the team" takes, thats his deal. I just think for someone on ESPN radio he would have some fresher material.
  7. Gross dude... Malibu's Most Wanted needs to be included here...
  8. Maybin has some big shoes to fill (Brruuuuuuuuccceee!!!) At least he has the feet to fill 'um http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/05/01/m...than-just-fast/
  9. HAHAHA salami slices on their asses....nice!
  10. Who are all these people that stopped listening, there may be 20 total if you count the posts on this board and that's generous. I'm just guessing that for every 1 person that hates the show, there are 10 that like it, which is probably dumb of me to do because everyone will pick apart a guessed stat in the following posts. Either way, I'm a fan and thats just my opinion, i totally get that he hangs up on people with ridiculous points, its actually torture listening to some of the callers and im glad someone has the balls to cut people off instead of letting them ramble on...or calls them out when they make up some ridiculous point. thats what msg boards are for ; ) it is just radio etiquette not to constantly ask the hosts how they're doing...which is why its a running joke on the show... Jim Rome is where he's at because he refuses to bog down his show with terrible calls....if you dont have a clear take you dont get on, and the second you do stray from a good take...EEEEHHHHHHH. I'd like to start on on the right foot here, so i think im going to go check out actual Bills posts. thanks for listening.
  11. It's not stupid at all. If you dont like the food, go to a different restaurant. All im saying, is in a world thats based on ratings and advertising dollars, there is some hype going on here about the show. so somebodys doing something right. The dude says he doesnt like the nfl, he gets a rise out of everyone, people talk about it, someone hears about it, tunes in, hears a guy screaming negativity about the buffalo sports scene, gets pissed, calls in, and wgr just gained a new listener. and hes going to listen just to hear what else he's going to say next. Whether its negative or positive he's pushing buttons and trying to create entertaining radio.
  12. I think the fact that there are 13 pages of posts based on an AM radio station in 2009, with all the competition out there (satellite radio, internet, etc.) means that Schopp and the Bulldog are doing pretty well. It seems like it's his role to play the devil's advocate, and he plays it well. If there was no contraversy, and the entire show was a praise-a-thon, it would be pretty boring, right? This is my first post btw...what's up everyone!
