  1. That game against BYU was a shootout... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=36
  2. Why jog in place? Just hang a hammock between two trees and watch the clouds drift by...
  3. "Just have to be lucky enough and stay healthy enough to accumulate enough wins to get in that tournament at the end of the season."
  4. Should we draft a CB or a S?
  5. "We have to get that corrected next week."
  6. I had a vision of a rainy day and the ref suddenly going down in a convulsive heap, twitching, and wetting himself.
  7. Giants OL is to 3lb hammer as Bills OL is to feather pillow.
  8. I'd rather have Robert Royal than Tony Gonzalez.
  9. Relax. Trent just almost never sees a 3-4 defense in practice.
  10. I know the point he was making. Actually, football people do praise the Giants OL. They were greatly lauded after the Super Bowl last year. But, talking about OL play isn't "sexy" and isn't done that much anywhere. The Giants coaching staff has put together a great OL, a unit that blocks and doesn't just "tip the scales".
  11. People don't like to read that fact. I wonder if the "this team has no talent" people recall the Bills have been drafting near the top of the draft and remember that this is year 3 of a wholesale gutting and rebuild project. Three years is a long time in the modern NFL to put something together. Look how far the Falcons and Redskins have come in a matter of a couple months.
  12. Not to mention that it isn't the way the NFL works. Yes, the head coach does a lot of administrivia, but there aren't enough players for the offense to go off and do its own thing and the defense to go off and do its own thing and the HC is busy in his office with the secretary not having a clue as to what either is doing. (Last I heard Jauron does actually attend practices and meetings.)
  13. We just need to play more teams with junk defenses.
  14. Thanks for the 'fo. That would fit the tone of what I heard just as easily.
  15. I guess Abram watched the Dallas game last year. Seriously, it is a direct reflection of coaching when other teams know exactly what is coming a priori.
  16. No, not surprised. Anderson is a part of the problem but at the time I heard the interview Anderson was still the starter. I think Romeo may be of one opinion but his offensive staff wanted to go in another direction. I don't think Romeo was trying to be anything but honest, frankly.
  17. It gets better and better. Push all of the buttons Al! Don't stop!
  18. Well, I was referring to the posts earlier this year about how this team was the very first team (well, maybe that 13-3 team counts, but I'm not sure) that Dick Jauron had ever coached that had any "real talent" and for that he deserved all the kudos for bringing that talent here. Yes, there are plenty of people that are quite content, maybe even tickled pink, with posting .500 seasons +/- a game.
  19. He's not on TV on draft day, so why not.
  20. It could be worse. We could be Raiders fans. Note to Al: firing Lane has really helped. And practicing those end zone dances? Bountiful brilliance and beauty.
  21. Careful now. Remember that whatever happens it is because the Bills are talent challenged.
  22. After watching our receivers run right past him all game, how can you say he'd be worth the effort of lifting up the receiver of Brandon's phone, let alone pushing the buttons?
  23. Actually, Favre has made plenty of truly awful plays over his career. He's made some great ones as well. As far as Anderson, I listened to Crennel talking about Anderson. Basically, the "hand off" to Suggs was a sloppy terrible play. But, there are a lot of other factors going on as well. The Browns receiving corps leads the league in drops, the running game hasn't been as effective, the defense isn't doing well. Crennel isn't a fan and he didn't lay all of the blame at the feet of Anderson. He said Anderson needed to play better, but wasn't doing badly either. Now the fans and media see the Golden Dome kid standing on the sideline, so their sights are leveled right at Anderson's chest and they're pulling the trigger after every mistake and every loss. Romeo decided to appeal to the mob, apparently. Unless the rest of the team suddenly starts playing better, it won't matter.
