  1. "Mom packed my snacks and a crossword for me."
  2. His bust potential isn't good. It's awesome.
  3. Oh come on! Why sell so short? What about all that time that was pre-history?!?
  4. "Well, Malcolm did go to Ohio State. Aww, what the heck!" "The Patriots have 6 picks in the top 100? F*** me! I'm done! Get me out of here!" "At least we aren't the Lions!" Nudge, nudge, wink, laugh.
  5. "I think he really liked Dave and Buster's and with all my coupons..."
  6. "Who cares if he can play? I can market the living bejeebs out of that kid!"
  7. "Someone wake Ralph up."
  8. Unofficially speaking of course.
  9. Who's that 5'3" KR kid? What do you think, Bill?
  10. "I can't believe I had to cancel my tee time for this."
  11. They use the honeymoon period to build a 7-9 team?
  12. Actually, I want BPA. There are too many holes to go chasing certain positions and even if they are patched it is going to take time. Enough with the wheel-spinning and trying to maintain a 7-9 team year in and year out. Get some core talent and build towards the future. If Jauron survives or not isn't a concern because there are many better coaches that could come in and set a direction in a heartbeat.
  13. Some teams, apparently, have a medical red flag on Harvin in addition to the rest of it. Bad foot.
  14. So, the same poster that posted for years about how it was a major gaffe for the Bills to have traded for Rob Johnson and then sign him to an extension for the going rate for starting QBs at the time, which was the reality and what happened (Hasselbeck signed the same contract the year before), is now trying to imply that I am being "unrealistic" to apply the basic principles of economics in that creating more demand would drive up a player's value and thus put more money in his pocket and in spite of the fact that I never said nor implied that Peters didn't get what he wanted. Delicious irony.
  15. I know. I didn't claim they did. The guys they did play against didn't average 14 attempts per game so didn't make the rankings. I wasn't claiming that the list was a "flawless study". I just thought the clustering of Ls and Ws was somewhat interesting.
  16. Tom Cousineau says hello.
  17. To be fair, the McDonald's drive-thru window was really backed up.
  18. The QB rankings and ratings of opposing team's #1 QBs with wins and losses marked. 1 Philip Rivers 105.5 W 2 Chad Pennington 97.4 L L 3 Kurt Warner 96.9 L 10 Matt Cassel 89.4 L L 12 Shaun Hill 87.5 L 13 Seneca Wallace 87.0 W 16 Jay Cutler 86.0 W 20 David Garrard 81.7 W 21 Brett Favre 81.0 L L 26 JaMarcus Russell 77.1 W 27 Tyler Thigpen 76.0 W 30 Marc Bulger 71.4 W 32 Derek Anderson 66.5 L The Bills didn't fare real well against the better passing teams, losing 6 games to the top 5 QBs on the list.
  19. So, you deny the reality that Tim Graham talked to various NFL sources at the NFL meetings and they said he wasn't worth a 1st round pick? You deny the reality that Philadelphia's offer was almost certainly the best offer the Bills received? You deny the reality that franchise LTs in their prime are among the most coveted position in the sport and are routinely among the highest paid positions on NFL teams? You deny the reality that refusing to communicate affects a negotiation? It's not saying anything to point out that what didn't happen is conjecture. But, that conjecture is based on reality and the facts known about the situation and human nature.
  20. That is correct. I chose to limit it to 1-9 and 24-32 and ignore everything in between. Almost half of their schedule came against teams in the bottom 9. (And they won almost half -- glass full -- of their games.) 9 of their games came against middle of the pack defenses and none against the top 5 (elite). The point is unmistakable, really. The Bills offense did poorly with respect to the 0-sum game of stats despite having a schedule that was heavily biased towards the low end.
