  1. Are you sure it isn't 74.284781% of Bills fans? Afterall, the draft concluded two days ago proves the ship has been righted. No, we're not pulling "facts" out of thin air around here.
  2. Maybe they just need to surround Kelsay with more talent.
  3. Yes, they did. Looks like this is a more recent change.
  4. Coming from a guy who's first point in rebuttal is to "attack the messenger" is too funny. Oh, look! An army of straw-men as well. And a failure at reading comprehension! The trifecta. It wasn't my laughable theory, it was what I heard some people discussing in an after the draft show on the radio. From a guy that actually knew what the Patriots and Ravens had hatched because he was there, btw.
  5. Well, listening to draft review shows is quite a bit different than reading the hopeful wishing of rabid Bills fans. Mostly the guys that actually worked in the NFL are absolutely mystified why the Bills did not address the LT position and they aren't buying that Langston Walker is a better LT now than he was years ago when he was younger, quicker, and less beat up. (He sucked at LT with the Raiders.) They don't buy the baloney sandwich that Bell is a superstar that nobody has ever heard of either. While they like many of the Bills picks, they have played, coached, and managed NFL teams and keep coming back to the point of "How do the Bills plan to toss the rock all over the field and not give their young QB adequate protection? It doesn't make any sense." Brandon? He's an amateur being trained on the job and under fire. Belichick outmaneuvered him in the draft by trading out of the first round, picking up picks, and letting another team snap up Oher right in front of our great COO's bewildered eyes.
  6. Rod Marinelli is a great person, served our country, and an excellent football coach. Ultimately, results are the standard by which NFL head coaches are measured though. Whether it is 57-76 or 10-38, it isn't winning.
  7. Tim and Pat just listed the "Raiders, Redskins, and Bills" as teams that they felt had tough drafts.
  8. You can even throw the TE in there for fun. That's OK. We play the Tampa-2, so the line doesn't matter as much.
  9. Hardy just needs some quick twitch neurons.
  10. Walker isn't Gandy.
  11. I think the question should be, "Why do the Bills always seem to have hordes of DBs rated way higher than any other position?" Is it simple man-love for DBs? Dick seems head over heels for DBs. Do the other scouts not file reports? What is it? That statement almost suggests the notion that the Bills had set their draft board before the Jason Peters trade and because the trade happened "so close" to draft day, they didn't want to spend the extra time to reevaluate the board given the new circumstances of not having a LT. The notion that you can just flip a flat footed, slow twitch RT over to LT to face speed rushers is a huge risk, a risk that Trent Edwards and the season may not survive.
  12. Tom Nutten won a Super Bowl with the Rams. Kurt Schulz. Mark Pike was a 7th rounder.
  13. With grade inflation these days, every team gets an A. Well, OK, Al Davis gets an A-.
  14. That's weak, Dave, and you know it. Do you honestly want to say this team is rock solid at every position and so much so that burning your last few draft picks all on the same area is a necessary and prudent team development strategy? OK, yeah, it's a 5th, 6th, 7th rounder -- but at least give a passing wave to having a little fuggin competition in some areas. Why would you not want that?!?
  15. Clockwise on the merry-go-round!
  16. Peterson must be smiling ear to ear. Running behind Hutchinson and Loadholt. They may have to measure his running in miles instead of yards.
  17. I question the advice or logic that lead him to think that packing on 15 pounds in a couple months was going to help him or fool anybody. It's on film.
  18. Thanks for working the actual numbers, KOK. Drafting 6-7 DBs in the past 2 drafts is nothing but a self-indictment of this group's very first draft where they spent 3 of their top 4 picks on the defensive backfield. The 4th pick of that group, McCargo, has shown nothing but an outright bust. So much for laying the foundation of your team with your honeymoon year. It seems a little surreal that the Bills seem to not worry about going 0-1 players deep at most positions, but pack their 80-man roster with DBs for depth.
  19. 7 round draft and 7 picks averages out to a DB every 2nd pick, no? So that means 50% of draft resources on a position that is 18% of the starting lineup. What's not to like?
  20. Honestly? Not much at all. Putting on the homer rose colored beer goggles: Bell is going to be a better LT than Jason Peters could ever be and play for a 7th round contract for 20 years. And, Steve Johnson is going to get a direct skill IV from Terrell Owens and become a Hall of Fame WR without the diva-tude. AIG is insuring this promise, so you can count it.
  21. I respect that he has an opinion. I respect that he has a right to hold that opinion. I don't have to blow him though.
  22. CB Word-Daniels, Jahi
  23. CB Osaisai, Wopamo
