  1. What was funny (I wasn't laughing though) was that Losman's mechanics were much better and he seemed much more comfortable in his first game with Las Vegas than he ever looked in Buffalo, where he routinely looked spastic and herky-jerky. Maybe having a good NFL QB coach (Fassel) around isn't such a bad thing afterall.
  2. Well, hopefully he understands what a route is now.
  3. Start with a franchise QB. Assuming with have anyone with a clue in the front office.
  4. People that bought season tickets to see the T.O. show (you know those that gave him the key to the city, etc.) might feel a little jilted by a T.O. trade. Really, the Bills should dangle the entire roster as trade bait. Blow up the whole thing, get a jump start on cleaning house, and make it as attractive as possible for someone else to come in and start over.
  5. Accelerated continuity. The velocity of the downward continuity just keeps going up.
  6. Whatever else, Jauron is a pro and he isn't going to quit. He'll go until they throw him out.
  7. Someone that works the red light, I'd guess.
  8. I understand your point that the defense looks like the least of the Bills worries. And, I agree with you, dude. My point is directly to your point: looks can be deceiving and they are deceiving here. This defense is a plum waiting to be picked.
  9. You must be kidding. Chad Henne scares who? Admittedly the Dolphins can run the ball, and we knew they would and couldn't stop it at all. Cleveland is horrible. Anderson completed 2 passes in 60 minutes. 2! And, Tampa benched their joke of a QB and put in Josh Friggin Johnson. Sorry, nothing quick about it. Those offenses blow. The Bills defense is barely capable and the only reason they haven't been totally exposed is the lack of competition.
  10. Jauron has one more card to play. They can bench Edwards. What else is there? The emergency chute is going to fail, of course. Fitzpatpatsack isn't any good. We knew that when they outbid themselves in a rush for his services.
  11. Who have they played? Miami had lost their QB. Cleveland & Tampa flat out suck offensively. The Patriots showed quite a bit of rust in the first game. The defense could well get blown off the field against a team that has an offense that is competent and putting the hammer down. Especially with the mounting injuries. They have to pray for bad weather at this point...
  12. Seriously though, what team is going to want to rent T.O. for the rest of the year? He's pretty worthless unless a desperate team is obliterated at WR like the Seahawks were last year.
  13. This team was being built this off-season for the next regime all along. It's time to break the news to Mr. Smithers and start hoarding draft picks for next year. Trouble is, the Bills don't even have much value to trade as it looks now. Lee Evans. Maybe Marshawn or Whitner or Poz, though those guys have suspension and injury histories. <sigh>
  14. Sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich. Priceless.
  15. Sounds like Lee Evans is a fan and his hope has run dry. Coach Singletary proved that coaching, leadership, and accountability can make a big difference.
  16. Good. Jauron gets to stay on the elevator as it continues to hurtle downwards.
  17. On 4. It seems, no wonder really, that experienced OCs simply do not want to and will not hitch their wagon to Mr. Jauron. He has hired some arguably talented offensive football minds (at least at the NCAA level) in the past, but they have all floundered badly under him. The cat left the bag years ago.
  18. Back down to 2%.
  19. The fans. If they'd only pony up a lot more of their money, Ralph could spend a bit more of it on getting a front office, coaches, and players.
  20. The Bills also want to be a Tampa-2 team, but they finally figured out they had no pass rush. It's hard to fault them for trying to improve the pass rush from putrid, but they did so in a typical Billsonian fashion. To improve the pass rush they took a project, a kid who was an early entry into the draft and had limited college playing experience.
  21. Mr. Smithers is doing a fine job.
  22. This was a "Rob Johnson, the Sequel" move. Walker played adequately for a game and they thought he'd be good enough. Only this time around, they didn't even get a single regular season snap out of their miscalculation.
  23. I'm still at the "boo the CEO" analogy. As if being a working grunt was tantamount to ownership. If you really think it is "moronic" then why make a series of posts on the topic? It smacks of card-carrying moronic hypocrisy.
  24. Says a moron defending a snarky, moronic answer from his favorite QB.
