  1. The Jills. Oh wait...
  2. I know. Hence the high comedy of pretending it was "a plan". More like an impression from a delusion in an illusion of a fantasy through an enigma rolled in a dream of a hallucination.
  3. Yeah, that's it. It's all part of the master plan. Let's see, the plan goes something like, relieve Mauron of his coaching duties in mid-season so you can fly the salesman and his Powerpoint presentation to Mike Shanahan's home and then ... sit on your hands and keep a sharp look out for the greener grass invariably always over the next hill.
  4. He was the starting RB in Turk Schonert's offense right up to the first game of the season. He had every opportunity in the world to get ready, be ready, and be fresh when he got back from his suspension -- a suspension he delivered to himself with his curious lack of self-discipline and inability to stay away from his pals and the reefer madness. Obviously, the chaos on the offensive side of the ball hasn't helped his game, but saying he never had an opportunity is total revisionism. He's a professional. Man up and act like it. He should have come back from that suspension with the attitude that his career was (and it is) totally on the line and he is one !@#$-up away from being the next Rashaan "Do Bongs" Salaam.
  5. Anyone with half a testicle has more balls than our former coach.
  6. Look at these socks! What a !@#$ing ugly uniform! Lookout, I'm going to blow chunks!
  7. I remember Dickie the J. expounding upon how Kirk Chambers was a guy the Bills really coveted this past offseason. One of the first guys they went out and signed in free agency. That sagacious front office really pulls out all the stops...
  8. Maybe he can get into a good law school.
  9. Patriots get their first road win.
  10. I guess the stench doesn't wash off that easily.
  11. Erik Flowers was drafted #26 and when you look at that draft class it was pretty thin at that point. Keith Bullock is the only pick at the end of the 1st round to have a solid NFL career. There were some good OTs taken in the top of the 2nd round. Maybin was taken at #11 to address the Bills lack of a pass rush and he has delivered a big zero in that area. There were scouts that were not sold on him, his body of work at PSU was very limited and in big games against better competition he was dominated, erased, and invisible. He was a high-risk high-reward pick for a team sporting personnel evaluators that have struck out far more often than the little bunts they've dribbled out to get on base here and there. I hope I'm wrong, but Aaron Maybe looks like another Modrak bust.
  12. Lawyer Milloy made some very nice plays today.
  13. The irony. Replace a guy that scored a gazillion on the Wonderlic and was coveted for his genius with a guy that is certifiable and flips into 'roid rage every other minute. (FWIW, Incognito is a free agent in 3 games and Hangartner is still under contract. So, odds are completely against you on this.) The 9 man defense is pretty innovative stuff too, dude.
  14. Well, signing a big name WR in Terrell Owens did wonders. Just keep right on keeping on, right?
  15. Which is a rather pathetic point when that line is 32nd best in the NFL against the run.
  16. Dan Snyder is still the owner there, right? Just saying...
  17. McShay was hyping Maybin as a "can't miss superstar." So far he's not looking so hot on that one, Aaron maybin able to average 1 tackle a game by the end of this year.
  18. Don't forget that it snows in Buffalo. Meanwhile, in places like Denver and Green Bay, there are chicks in bikinis walking the streets in December and January...
  19. Talk about a rose-colored glasses viewpoint. The wino on 4th Ave. hasn't made any football decisions (fewer than Mr. Smithers, no doubt), so why not give him a shot at running a billion dollar company?
  20. Looks like they use one of the old ping-pong ball machines from the lottery folks to figure it all out based on the consistency.
  21. So much for the theory we're smarter than the rest of the world.
  22. Both coaches Donahoe hired were very late in the season as well. The trouble being that most of the top assistant coaches available can be gone by that point. The staff Jauron put together was about as green as a fresh mowed fairway in spring.
  23. What doesn't add up is the NFL analysts are usually quick to laud Ralph Wilson as a great owner and are just as quick to say out of the other side of their mouth that nobody wants to work for the Bills. How can you have a sterling reputation and yet nobody even considers working for you? Perhaps what they used to say is true, that there is a je ne sais qua that the Buffalo Bills are just supposed to suck.
  24. Hopefully, he's better than putting Roscoe Parrish at G.
