  1. If your Pro Bowl QB is carted off the field in week 3 or 4 because he has no line and gets broken, it doesn't make much difference at all.
  2. The OL was a disaster last year and the most experienced starter retired. Saying "it'll be fine" is tantamount to sticking one's head in the sand.
  3. Only an assclown would think Eugene Parker would advise another client of his to sign with the Bills while getting the hard ball, jack boot up his ass wrt Peters. You reap what you sow.
  4. I heard that he's been working on his coverage skills by playing bingo twice a week.
  5. Maybe he means "special" as in "especially brutal to watch"?
  6. Don't you have to, well, you know, be able to play in order to be considered a leader on the field?!?
  7. Probably more correct to say that they replaced some young coaches that they spent the last 4 years training on the job. They retained Catavolos, DeHaven is a solid ST coach in his own right, they kept Bob Sanders. George Edwards has experience. George Cortez has tons more experience in coaching than Alex Van Pelt. In fact, getting experienced coaches out of the college ranks may be a rather wise decision at this point, since this will be a major rebuilding project from the dirt up. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches/index.html
  8. He doesn't get injured enough for the Bills to be interested.
  9. Well, he's been in the NFL 8 years and never been much of a starter (averges 4 games a season). Sounds like a huge upgrade.
  10. It's amazing people actually noticed Incognito was or wasn't around.
  11. I just wonder if the "it ain't worth the hassle of faxing the paperwork" (read: lazy) mentality still lingers if a trade is not for a top 100 pick.
  12. It's called How to be an NFL Executive for Absolute Morons.
  13. And under new ownership and in a new ...
  14. No need to blow money on a guy that most teams would never touch because of his hairtrigger personality and the downside that he could go postal any second. If we need a scrub lineman, we can find one. Speaking of which, there is Seth McKinnie now...
  15. Todd Collins available, too. So much for the pipe dream that the Panthers would trade their better QB.
  16. Maybe you can start 2 threads. One about how you believe John Clayton is more of an inside source on the Bills than Ralph Wilson would gain some attention for you too.
  17. On the other hand, why waste a roster spot on a party animal who can't play and is showing no interest in learning or developing (assuming the OP thesis is correct)? The answer for a team interested in developing a culture of winning is: you don't. It doesn't matter what his age is, or how undeveloped he is, or what school he went to, or where he was drafted. That's all sunk cost. If he has no value, he has no value and it is time to turn the page with someone that will bust his ass to make the TEAM better.
  18. If he isn't putting the necessary effort in, he's a bust and moving him isn't going to matter one iota.
  19. Jauron's record at putting together an effective NFL offense speaks for itself.
  20. If you surround him with the right players and don't ask him to do too much...
  21. So, being invisible is considered a trick. Good to know.
  22. I never said it (edit: Favre) didn't improve the team. Reading these "almost good" woulda-coulda-shoulda-maybe-if-only excuses never gets old. It's like listening to a co-worker that hasn't gotten laid in 10 years talk about how he almost bagged a chick that looked like Jessica Alba the night before. Studly's got it going on. Fine. Which great QB are you suggesting is going to ride in on the white horse?
