  1. He was a stop-gap DC for the Redskins. They replaced him as quickly as possible -- actually with some Buffalo trash named Gregg Williams.
  2. It didn't look like it was his guy actually. He sort of glanced at Keller like WTF are you doing standing here with no one near you? Holy ****!
  3. Was Kelsay supposed to be covering Keller?
  4. Better if the clowns in the front office realized it.
  5. Luck is not from California. Oh, and Stanford isn't "letting" Oregon's offense do anything. Oregon's offense is this explosive all the time.
  6. They paid Stroud, Owens, Evans, Dockery, Walker.
  7. Kelsay is the breakdown as he is at the toddler stages of learning a new position. Ignoring that, Kelsay is averaging 4 tackles and 2 assists a game. Not sure about others, but "a lot" isn't usually a number I can count on the fingers of one hand and still have some left over. Keith Ellison is making more plays and is more fundamentally sound than Kelsay. Sorry, but I never said Whitner was flawless. I've sent criticism his way before, in fact. However, he's not terrible. He has been helping Kelsay quite a bit, especially in coverage where Kelsay is useless.
  8. Ask for any reason for hope and all the dude comes up with is a profane "I got nothing." Can't even bring himself to type something like "Chan the Man" or "Nix knows picks"...
  9. True, but it sounds like he's in the early stages of despair. He'll recover from it, but there is an emotional adjustment to be made. To the OP, just ask yourself why you were really a fan. If it was because you love the game, then there are other teams out there. Take it as a positive thing that you're a free agent now. Like SDS wrote, you can take up a different hobby entirely. Life is short.
  10. Are you trying to be funny? Well, Whitner is too busy trying to cover Kelsay's mistakes in both the running and passing game to do a whole lot of freelancing out there.
  11. I don't fault Gailey. I fault the front office for not bringing in any new credible talent at the QB position. A camp fodder rookie wasn't enough to change the dynamic.
  12. Maybe the fans should ask to be released as well.
  13. Seriously, what light? You're just tossing out propaganda with nothing to back it up. If you think the Bills are making upward progress, then it's more convincing to have reasons and not just slogans like "Doh! I'm a Homer!"
  14. The weakness of this argument is that many people with NFL personnel experience watched the film of Trent and expressed major reservations (and were shot along with other messengers). Indeed, the Bills own actions this week kick the legs out from under the argument. After a mere two starts, they gave up completely on him and with nearly 90% of the season left to play. Teams aren't built in late September. The ship has already sailed.
  15. The timing is kind of interesting, don't you think? Maybe not everyone thought Kelsay is the best OLB on the team, eh?
  16. Absolutely totally irrelevant to the point. When a player becomes a free agent they aren't precluded from re-signing with their original team. Take a course in basic economics. If you allow something that is valued by more than 1 party to be bid on, then those parties will bid up the price. Supply and demand. At the time, the rumors were that Kelsay would be one of the highest paid players at his new position. I, and others, happen to think he is awful at that position. Forgive me if I don't see the "enlightened" value proposition in that scenario. Why rush to invest more money in a risky investment when you simply don't have to? There are 14 more weeks to the season and there is time after the season. There is no need to rush, and that's a fact, not a thoughtless comment. Many players have no such desire. They actually covet becoming free agents and getting a big contract and having the ability to choose where they want to play. I don't begrudge Kelsay one iota.
  17. So far, and I know it is only 3 games, but Badol is right. He is really awful at OLB. Maybe he gets better and maybe he doesn't. I'm not sure how he improves his instincts and innate fluid athleticism.
  18. Thanks. I was asking seriously, because I had no idea what you were getting at. It's hard to see any substance behind his posts because he is so upset he is in such a small minority on the subject. Obviously, the Bills could cut him. That's a red herring at best; I doubt the entire board was seriously confused that Kelsay couldn't be cut at some point. On the other hand, well run teams don't re-do a contract less than 1 month into the season on a guy they are planning to cut quickly ... but, it is the Bills so who !@#$ing knows what they will do next. Anyway, putting the homer glasses on... Thank God they didn't let Chris "Highly Coveted" Kelsay hit the open market and in comparison to the value they're getting from the Bust Maybin contract, this really is a solid deal for the team too.
  19. He/she joined the board last week. The hilarious post was that he/she accused this board, of all places, of suffering group think.
