Two problems. There is no evidence whatsoever that Maybin can block, run routes, catch a football, or anything else a TE is asked to do every play. Heck, he's not even good enough to run down the field on a kick-off for that matter. Second, it's not clear that the Bills organization even knows what the position of TE is nor why it might be a good idea to have one of them on the roster. Nothing wrong with shooting imaginary bullets at illusional targets though.

Blow call that changed the result of the game. Really bad officiating. Terrible job.

In an effort to figure out what rebuild you were talking about I looked up some data. Cardinals? Nope. Got better under Whis in his 1st year. Falcons? Nope. Got better under Smith. Ravens? Nope. Got better under Harbaugh. Panthers? Nope. got better under Fox. Bears? Yes. Got 2 games worse under Smith. Bengals? Nope. Got better under Lewis. Browns? Nope. Got better under Mangini. Cowboys? Nope. Got better under Wade. Broncos? Nope. The same. Lions? Nope. Got better under Schwartz. That's the first 10 teams, but so far the evidence that "you have to get worse to get better" doesn't seem to be the tact that 9 out of 10 of these teams took.

So much for a potentially historic double 0-16 season.

The refs gave the ball back to the Steelers after Roethlisberger had fumbled because they couldn't see who recovered the ball clearly in the replay review. Dolphins won the review but that let the Steelers win the game on the next play with a FG. **** happens.

Already asked and answered. Let's turn this overly constrained knee-jerk defense around. Why don't you list all the moves Nix has made in the past 10 months that have been home runs? So the "plan" hinges on the wish that Andrew Luck, a sophomore, declares for the draft. You play to win the game. Any GM that comes in to a poor situation and has the plan to intentionally make things worse is a fool and should be fired. There are usually more than exactly one good football player in a draft class. Teams that are good at drafting somehow know that fact. Besides, you ignore the fact that franchises make moves in the off-season to address problems like not having a QB -- the Bills elected to try and coach up Trent Edwards ... for two games.

You mean like the Marv Levy/Dick Jauron rebuild where the team actually improved in the first season?

Well, let's see. Washington was worse last year and they are tanking this season under their new GM. Oh wait. Let's try that again.
