  1. Any ideas about the top 10 picks in 2013?
  2. Mooning players makes them better tacklers.
  3. Giff was a good recruiter and had a good network across the Peach State. To say he is inexperienced in the 3-4 and at the NFL level would be quite fair.
  4. Actually, this is old news. It was reported at the time of the trade that Buddy could have got more for Lynch, but he never picked up the phone. The Seahawks front office were actually laughing about it; they just kept calling until Buddy caved one day and simply agreed to their offer as it was given.
  5. Jon Tenuta was the DC at Tech under Gailey. More recently, he was at Notre Dame under Weis. He runs an aggressive 4-3 scheme on defense. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/233416-what-does-a-tenuta-coached-irish-defense-look-like
  6. I don't get it. How does it twitter from inside the plastic bag?
  7. I don't see why you couldn't fax the paperwork to the league office for emphasis.
  8. Sure, if you consider 25th or higher the "middle" of 32.
  9. Multiple draft picks actually.
  10. It was a pretty good effort for a guy that many posters here guaranteed would never make another NFL roster.
  11. They probably just fired Cross because Poz made him look too good to keep.
  12. If Seattle can get to the Super Bowl, they turn that pick into almost a 5th rounder.
  13. More importantly, what is the over-under on how many times his helmet pops off?
  14. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3/Bills-release-ILB-coach-Cross/39b72813-e578-4fb9-b5ac-f0f9b6f0a950 Hopefully they'll get some new players as well.
  15. Well, we're in prime position to draft Peterson.
  16. I agree with you K-9 on the LB situation. There was some really bad LB play this past year. This is what we evolved into during the season once Edwards pulled his head out and realized he didn't have the players to play a 2-gap 3-4. http://www.scardraft.com/Phillips34.html (Note who is listed as the perfect player for the WDE, btw. ) Williams is fine as the NT in this scheme, but our LBs couldn't control their gaps which was why we were gashed all season in the running game. Kelsay started as a true Sam in Edwards defense and showed he was a total cluster in space and had no ability at all in coverage. He continued to play the contain defender, whether he lined up in a 2 or 3 pt., and was usually embarrassing to watch. He's a lightweight DE, narrow in the waist, and without great hands or superior strength. He can be a "better Maybin than Maybin" and head up field and cause disruption once in a while, but that's not saying anything. He can win his battle once in a while; but, he's simply not a good fit for nor good enough to play this defense. Our primary pass rush should have come from the other side, but the Maybin project flamed out before it left the drawing board. Torbor didn't produce and then went down. Merriman gave a PC and turned up on IR before you could blink. Moats finally got bounced out there and he showed a few good things, but he was still a rookie and not a LB in college. On the inside, more injuries and guys moving around. Davis is a downhill plugger and is terrible in coverage, but he was sent to IR early and Ayodele showed why Miami had dumped both he and Torbor after looking at their run defense problems. Posluszny is a disappointment and I think your earlier criticisms apply to his play very well. To be even a mediocre defense against the run, the Bills are going to have to find a new set of LBs.
  17. Catch you later.
  18. Free agency? My prediction: Nap time.
  19. I'd rather pick #2 and not have to hope Denver picks someone else. Ralph has plenty of people protecting his wallet already.
  20. 4-12 is a lot better than 0-16.
  21. Compared to Vince Young, he's not.
  22. Did you notice that the only other team with 2 players in the top 20 in tackles was the Carolina Panthers?
  23. Actually, giving any coach (current or former) 100% credit for NFL players acting like professionals is humorous.
  24. One of the most common refrains in defense of Dick Jauron was that he got his gang of street free agents and rookies to play hard.
