  1. Maybe they can work a deal for Kelsay, ala Seymour, once the labor thing is settled.
  2. Carpenter was rated as a mid-rounder on NFL.com.
  3. I have no idea. The McGahee pick really worked out. I see your point. (Just kidding with you.)
  4. Maybe because his knee has no cartilage?
  5. The Browns must've locked Jauron out of the war room.
  6. But the Jags have Trent Edwards...
  7. if he falls to the 4th round, sure.
  8. "Catbird seat" award goes to the ... Cleveland Browns.
  9. The commentary that immediately linked him to Aaron Maynot was downright rude.
  10. Somebody will wake Buddy up in time. No worries.
  11. Actually, you are very much making **** up. Rodgers was drafted by the Packers. Peyton Manning was drafted by the Colts. Roethlisberger was drafted by the Steelers. Brady was drafted by the Patriots. McNair, McNabb, and Grossman all took the team that drafted them to the Super Bowl in the last decade as well.
  12. Putting the dartboard to work... 1: Cam Newton QB Buffalo 2: Blaine Gabbert QB Arizona 3: Von Miller LB Denver 4: Gabe Carimi OT Giants 5: Kyle Rudolph TE Ravens
  13. Wait for the Modrak Wheelhouse and take one in the 6th or 7th round. The first few rounds are throwaway.
  14. Keep that Georgia Tech pipeline rolling. Fixed.
  15. Sorry, but I had to laugh at the "catbird seat" comment. Fans post that sentiment every single year here and regardless of where the Bills are in the draft order. OK, seriously, I believe it is pretty remote that anyone is going to trade up to #3 for a variety of reasons. Not that the Bills shouldn't try to work a deal, but...
  16. And then you have Buddy sticking to his board and drafting the BPA... maybe the problem is the board? Nah.
  17. Why? Did the judge rule that private companies have to reveal their books for the past decade or so to any third party that formerly represented employees that demands they do so? What's the precedent? It would be major overstepping in the case and any such ruling would be appealed and struck down easily, I would think.
  18. I was thinking the same thing. Then I thought, what would it matter in the milliseconds it takes them to turn in their pick after Denver turns theirs in...
  19. If the players all become independent contractors, De Smith will have to find a new line of work. The chaos of a wild west approach with no roster minimum limits, no salary cap or floor, no pension plan, no health insurance, no veteran status, etc. all sounds vaguely unappealing to the rank and file player (you know the guys that nominally have no union and are not part of the Brady lawsuit).
  20. Isn't that like saying a large dose of radiation is no big deal, because the cancer won't get bad until later?
  21. 1 half of 1 game for a 1 year player, Gordio? Sorry, the "Timmy Smith had a great Super Bowl" argument isn't totally convincing.
