I'm not sure the excuse is getting old. Hamlin and Johnson together are a serious liability, mainly due to Johnson it appears.
Until Johnson is relegated to a backup (or he steps his play up) this talking point is likely to continue, with justification.
It's hard to call the offensive line a disappointment when we knew it would be bad coming in.
Mackenzie and Gabe are critical disappointments. We need their contributions and we don't have it. We have to go to Shakir now, but it might be unreasonable to assume he can help as much as we need.
Knox/Dorsey's TE use... I don't know who is responsible here but we're not seeing enough.
No one cares if you were in the majority of folks who were disappointed in the bills performance in the second half of the Packers game.
The bills ***** play today does not "vindicate" such obvious takes.
It makes sense to me, but I think your point about sloppiness is the most relevant. It's early days of course, but sloppiness seems like like the biggest threat to this team.
What I think is the reality:
Go get that ring right now, and god it hurts that we didn't waltz to it last year.
What I suspect: we'll always have a shot with Allen, Beane and McD.
My concern (again, not what I think): the Seahawks story.
