    He had a nice little shoulder dip/juke on a route last week. Based on that enormous sample size I think we're got a breakout star and Josh's new favorite weapon in the wings...

    I don't think people are ignoring his drops...he's getting a lot of flack about them. I just think he's flashed enough last year and this camp that I'm predicting he's going to make the team.

    And some drops....Ateman was the bottom of the roster receiver I was most impressed with. Diggs Davis Sherfield Harty Shakir Isabella. That's my guess for the 53.

    Doyle gets an opportunity with this one. Would love to see Gouraige out at RT but I think they want to keep him under wraps on the PS. I don't think Quess makes the team, but this gives him a better shot.

    I want to see Gouraige against better competition. I don't think we will, as I half expect the team to be thinking about how to hang on to him without rostering. With the paucity of OLine talent in the league I'm a little worried about him on the practice squad.

    Can only be a good thing imo. Hope it continues, and that Josh isn't allergic to calling running plays.

    Iirc he had a good rookie campaign and then has been playing poorly since. Started to see his role diminish last season.

    What are we gonna do with Doyle, Van Demark, and my sweet prince Gouraige? How many tackles did we keep last year? 4?

    He showed good check down skills this weekend. Running game overall looked good. I wonder if he'll ever show an ability to work the intermediate part of the field.

    He was much better at LT and awful at RT. He was the first backup at LT.

    Gouraige did not get shellacked. He was great. Looked easy out there for him. Hope he gets reps against better opponents.

    Dodson did not inspire confidence. Bernard's hamstring injury is a real bummer. Have to wonder if we're going to be looking at veteran cuts.

    I think Shakir has flashed enough to be safely ahead of Shorter and that group. Blocking and receiving. On a totally different note (MLB)...Dodson sure didn't inspire confidence.

    I think if Isabella impresses, the last spot will be between him and shorter et al (a few rookies looking good at the bottom of the roster).

    I liked what I saw from Andy in the slot. As mentioned above, he's not a returner. If he keeps playing well - and we keep 6 WRs - I think he has a shot.

    Gouraige played LT, and I think has been practicing there. I've been hoping to see him give RT a shot, but they might be thinking about Dawkins depth. He was LT in college.
