    Could be. The allure of the unknown, plus flashes throughout the off-season, intrigue me wrt Hancock (It's going to be Bishop until he proves he can't do it imo. I hope he has a Bernard-esque ascendence)

    Hancock did get some practice time with the 1s in the joint practices I believe. Give me another FA safety while also getting Hancock ready to go.

    Hairston and Strong likely need to contribute this year imo. Hairston for sure, and I hate to think what happens if Benford misses a game.

    Yeah I kinda agree, if he keeps performing in preseason. I hope it doesn't come at the expense of shavers. I think it'd probably be at the expense of Codrington. It's the punt game where it's a harder call.

    I have a hunch that Bishop isn't exactly cerebral. We really need him to pan out and stay healthy, pretty damn soon.

    It does. But he's nominally the coordinator and calls plays. If the defense is awful again on 3rd down, he's cooked.

    Babich is going to get a lot of heat online, especially with Nielsen behind him.

    By the end of of the regular season, Rapp and Bishop need to stay healthy and play well and we need Hairston to be a plus player.

    Same deal with Codrington and CB. I'd love Shavers to make this team and get to see him play with Allen.

    Oh, I should probably mention that Ty Johnson is still the man.

    I don't disagree with much of that TBH. I'd only add that Shenault looked like the best returner...making Shavers an even more painful cut. It's interesting that Hoecht was Joe Marino's favorite performance in this game.
