  1. Buddy it was epic. Shoulda been there....
  2. Excited for Walker this year but also verrrrry excited to see him in year two with a full off-season of NFL conditioning.
  3. I just try to remind myself that January/February is a long way away. We're spoiled to be able to entertain that thought, but in JA we trust. As far as the Ravens go, I'm somewhat happy we're playing them Week 1. It's such a bizarre and random week that no results can be trusted. And given the info you describe in the OP, I'd rather them week 1 than 2/3/4....
  4. I did not like that he missed his last kick before the regular season. The only thing I can tell myself is at least the kicks were consistently to the same direction, and not scattergun
  5. His decisiveness and timing were noticably better but it's such a small sample size I can't really say more than that. Better than a bad performance though. Wrt Shavers and special teams, he was an ace in college. I am really interested to see what he would look like as a core teamer during the regular season (i.e., not splitting reps all off-season)
  6. Sure seems clear what the coaches think. I actually think Shenault is better at kickoff returns, but that's not all there is to the roster spot...
  7. Which play? I have been hard on Bishop but in the two series he played (I think it was just two) he played with a noticably better trigger than Ive seen before. I can't find a play where he has a chance to break up a pass - other than the 3rd and 10 where he triggered at the right moment and smacked the receiver/broke up the pass short of the sticks. The throw was a bit behind the receiver, but even if he wasn't it was a good play and would have (finally) stopped a 3rd and long...
  8. He played well in the first half, I think he's the PS QB and Mitch has won the backup job, and they figured Shane deserved the pre-season reps. If so, I'd agree.
  9. The entire forum thinks he should make the roster lol. You knew this when you started the thread.
  10. Shaversssss. You can tell the starters love him
  11. We'll be seeing who gets cut free for sure
  12. I'd venture to guess that no one is upset with this nor Greg Olsen, but it's an effective way to generate clicks. And it will make people upset thinking that others are upset.
  13. Hope that's it. Our defense needs him permanently available (in addition to improvements in other areas of the secondary...)
  14. I also think he's a lock for the practice squad. Flashing repeatedly. Looking forward to seeing him in the next preseason game
  15. The tenures of those who wore it are noticably short until Josh. To a surprising extent.
  16. Good. Let it be a big nothingburger as far as I'm concerned.
  17. If I was a team with a middling tackle situation I'd be all over RVD. We have a shockingly good inventory of OLine talent.
  18. I'm bummed Hancock is missing some time, even a short duration
  19. I'd love to see what Hancock next to Rapp looks like, but it's a lot to put on a rookie.
  20. Drops and miscommunications as WR4 instead of WR2 are still unappealing to me. As I said last season, he's a stark example of addition by subtraction for this offense/qb. Nice guy and hard worker unquestionably.
  21. He makes Josh worse.
  22. Take it for what it's worth, but after the game he told reporters he was fine
  23. I'm optimistic about what I see from #37, as a 5th round rookie
