    I agree fwiw. Just the implication of 'the only this this changes is adding 3m on this year's cap' is a tad incomplete, because we lose Stefon Diggs while doing so. I agree. I'm just saying what I hope Brandon says, because other players will see we never treat our current of former players poorly.

    I hope Beane holds strong to a diplomatic line. "Thought it was in the best interest of our long term financial health, Stephon has been a great Bill and consummate professional, hate to play against him but it made sense for us." Keeping it classy no matter what is a good FO approach.

    I think between now and draft, we need upgrades to S and DT (I think the former will happen and I really don't know if we'll pull off the latter). I think we're standing pat at WR until the draft.

    I see incremental moves with the later round pics to target guys in the 4th and lower rounds. I think he'd like to move back to the early second round to get a 3rd round draft pick, but we won't know unless a partner emerges.
