So much is terrible about these monstrosities but that shoulder patch is among the most heinous design decisions I've seen in this space.
-
I honestly might yell at the clouds if they were as ugly as these.

I can't believe I'm reading this.

Good lord those are ugly and tacky.

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises

He is a good returner, but for the new kickoff rule in particular, I'd rather have Shenault. Obviously carrying both of them isn't feasible, and punting is 50% of the equation (strongly in Codrington's favor) -
Playing outside corner during his last outing was cruel and unusual lol
-
His history would suggest it's a practice squad offer....

That's what I'm pinning my hopes on. I'm sure front offices saw VanDemark against the chiefs and Anderson in his year as 6th OL. Grable is concerning. He sounded like a potential starter, until this long recovery concussion. -

Van Demark should not be cut...there really ought to be a trade partner if we want to move him. Has the league-wide paucity of OLine talent really been addressed to the point where a capable young tackle isn't worth a 5th? -
Where are the rest of the cuts/trades already 🙄
-
Keon, Palmer, Shakir, Samuel, Moore, Shenault....those are the ones who cutting/moving on from impact his spot imo (obviously the only semi plausible cuts/trades are Samuel, Moore, Shenault). Shenault's cut was more beneficial for Shavers than any of the receivers not named above imo. Shavers clearly surpassed the Prathers Virgils and Hamlers of the world.
-
I kind of expect Dane to be on the PS and activated for a couple games to start the season
-
I can't tell if I'm missing sarcasm, lol. KJ Hamler has no bearing on the roster cut downs, and it says nothing about whether they carry both Moore and Shavers or drop one.
-
How is KJ Hamler relevant to Shavers' spot on the roster?

Milano Bernard Williams Andreessen Thompson is 5

Robbins has had a steady enough off-season that I imagine this front office will roll with him.

Buddy it was epic. Shoulda been there....

Joe Marino’s All 22 from Bucs preseason game

Excited for Walker this year but also verrrrry excited to see him in year two with a full off-season of NFL conditioning. -
I just try to remind myself that January/February is a long way away. We're spoiled to be able to entertain that thought, but in JA we trust. As far as the Ravens go, I'm somewhat happy we're playing them Week 1. It's such a bizarre and random week that no results can be trusted. And given the info you describe in the OP, I'd rather them week 1 than 2/3/4....

I did not like that he missed his last kick before the regular season. The only thing I can tell myself is at least the kicks were consistently to the same direction, and not scattergun

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
NickelCity replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
His decisiveness and timing were noticably better but it's such a small sample size I can't really say more than that. Better than a bad performance though. Wrt Shavers and special teams, he was an ace in college. I am really interested to see what he would look like as a core teamer during the regular season (i.e., not splitting reps all off-season) -
Sure seems clear what the coaches think. I actually think Shenault is better at kickoff returns, but that's not all there is to the roster spot...
-
Which play? I have been hard on Bishop but in the two series he played (I think it was just two) he played with a noticably better trigger than Ive seen before. I can't find a play where he has a chance to break up a pass - other than the 3rd and 10 where he triggered at the right moment and smacked the receiver/broke up the pass short of the sticks. The throw was a bit behind the receiver, but even if he wasn't it was a good play and would have (finally) stopped a 3rd and long...

Why did Buechele start and play the entire game?
NickelCity replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
He played well in the first half, I think he's the PS QB and Mitch has won the backup job, and they figured Shane deserved the pre-season reps. If so, I'd agree.
