hahahahahaha bravo
Regarding the other posts, I too think Eddins makes the team after listening to Gailey's comments. When is the next date for cuts again?
I was pleasently surprised by Hairston last week, and I think Chan was as well.
It also sounds like Sheppard will get significant playing time tomorrow (http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Kelvin-Sheppard-on-Making-His-NFL-Debut/e9044c46-3929-4617-897d-a62aef182feb)
Can't wait for the real season to start...
That reminds me, I meant to post Gailey's Monday interview: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Chan-Gailey-Monday-Update/0b36204a-30ee-4bfd-a434-31e6a52c3b81.
Upon hearing Chan speak (talks about him near the end), I'm convinced that Roscoe is very much in his plans.
Not to nitpick, but wasn't Young traded to the 49ers for a 2nd and a 4th?
The story is certainly a big turn around, I only mention this because the OP said no trades, and it made it much harder to think of examples.
That's an excellent point about Reich. I think thigpen is a fine backup who, with more practice time, can step in and give us a chance if need be. I liked the way he played on the chiefs in 08, he's got some gumption.
I've lived on the central coast for Brees' whole career. There were a significant amount of fans and local commentators that, if I recall correctly, were very much of the opinion that he sucked. It was cool that he eventually proved them wrong, when he came together for the chargers that team was dangerous...
Unfortunately I can see this happening. I've always been overly optimistic about the Bills' chances too. If we sign some offensive linemen, I'm sure my homerism will come back.
