  1. I haven't been terribly impressed by Osweiler either.
  2. I'm saying that in your response to NewEra's post, you may have misread his point: Now my point of view. The whole premise for this thread is ridiculous, and most savvy fans have realized it. Who would get rid of Spiller? Certainly not me. Good thing we don't have to. That being said, Fred was unbelievable last year, and if we're going on last years performance, he is better than Spiller right now. However, that does not mean that Spiller did not impress, it just means that Fred was incredible. I think Fred should get more carries than CJ at the beginning of this season because: 1) Fred is probably still an excellent back and 2) it keeps Spiller healthy/fresh for when his time comes. The nice thing is, we're not locked into these proportions, and if Fred has drastically faded after his injury, then we can simply play CJ more. \\ Again, it's only the strawman that wants to get rid of CJ in favor of keeping Fred. The odd hypothetical suggested by this thread doesn't mean people would like to see CJ go.
  3. I believe he was saying that Fred's game is not based on speed. Thank god we don't have to make this decision. CJ will be healthy and fresh when his number is called. Fred is just vastly superior right now, if he can return to his early season form.
  4. I sure hope it doesn't change the first round pick (if it's a LT). I would love Bell plus Martin...
  5. Glad to hear they're in contact.
  6. This was funny from the 26th: Guess that's all it took, eh?
  7. This is my line of thinking as well.
  8. Thank you for writing this up, it's similar to what I would have written. While I think we'll see Fred have slightly more carries this year, I imagine it will equal out the next year then shift toward CJ in the following season(s).
  9. I think Martin is fairly low-risk, with huge potential. I'm in favor of drafting him.
  10. Berman is really the only good thing they've got going, eh?
  11. The ideas are flowing like beer in Aspen on this thread: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/143961-nickname-4-def-lineallow-me/
  12. Wow that is an awful looking shirt.
  13. Well put together video.
  14. I actually disagree, and I'll add snazzy talk to my own (also semi-rhetorical) question. What position will be more helpful to our playoff push this season: a stalwart LT that can protect fitz's blindside, radically opening up receiving routes previously unattainable given the paucity of extended pocket protection...or a WR? In all seriousness, I do think that if it were possible to run an experiment, we would see a LT have more of an impact than an equivalent (talent-level) WR on our team as it currently stands. I am keeping an open mind about the draft, but I have a preference, as we all do I suppose.
  15. What about what Nix has said on the matter: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2012/03/26/will-bills-draft-more-than-1-ot/
  16. If we had they same timeslots they do, their fans would watch us. If it's the only night game....they will watch.
  17. I think it helped that Hairston was a LT in college. While I want to draft an LT high, I was impressed with Hairston, and think he could develop into something. I like that he can play LT and RT. Good kid.
  18. I had assumed it was sarcasm, but either way I laughed too
  19. Martin is definitely NOT a RT.
  20. I want Martin. Regarding Reiff, I know he is more suited to the RT spot, but I did hear Chris Brown say that "Reiff can protect the blindside" on NFLN. I'm not agreeing with him, just passing it along...
