I hope this wasn't directed at me. I stated my hopes for the future of professional sports, not my beliefs on how or why the NFL operates, nor what is likely to happen.
I understand that marijuana is illegal, and that is the primary reason why the NFL tests for it, and prohibits it. I completely understand the concern of many, who look at Mike Adams' positive test as a lapse in common sense. After all, it is pretty remarkable that he knew a test was coming during the biggest audition of his life, and still tested positive. That being said, I don't think it's absurd for posters to remark on how trifling these tests/laws may seem.
On Mike Adams - Two distinct off-field issues should raise red flags. I wonder how far he falls.
