    CBs: Crezdon Butler, TJ Heath, Jordan Dangerfield, Kip Edwards G: Antoine Caldwell Well, well. Seems like Coach Marrone was just a horrified by the backfield as we were. Caldwell's release interesting considering Legursky's injury.

    Yep, though I imagine he'll want to wait until at least halfway through the season. Just about everyone is assuming he ups his value considerably.

    Now I'm confused. Marrone said last night that "Friday will be a big day for him out there. Then there's a day off. Then Sunday and Monday will be big days." The "then there's a day off" certainly seems to suggest that something is happening today...no?

    OCinBuf - I agree about our corner play. I saw the same things you did. I feel we desperately need some stopgap FAs for this season. I thought it was one of several issues. I haven't been excited about our run defense at all this preseason. That said, with some veteran CB stopgaps, and a G, I'll remain hopeful for this season. Can't wait to see what happens.

    Well I'm happy about it. With all these injuries I half expected ocular surgery and 6 weeks out.

    Praying for Winfield and Nnamdi to be cut. I've heard of both of them!! (but seriously I would feel much better if we signed both)
