    Now I'm confused. Marrone said last night that "Friday will be a big day for him out there. Then there's a day off. Then Sunday and Monday will be big days." The "then there's a day off" certainly seems to suggest that something is happening today...no?

    OCinBuf - I agree about our corner play. I saw the same things you did. I feel we desperately need some stopgap FAs for this season. I thought it was one of several issues. I haven't been excited about our run defense at all this preseason. That said, with some veteran CB stopgaps, and a G, I'll remain hopeful for this season. Can't wait to see what happens.

    Well I'm happy about it. With all these injuries I half expected ocular surgery and 6 weeks out.

    Praying for Winfield and Nnamdi to be cut. I've heard of both of them!! (but seriously I would feel much better if we signed both)

    That would be nuts. Lineart basically cut himself in his post game statement.

    Bills receiver Marquise Goodwin also left the game in the first half with an eye injury and did not return, but is going to be okay. “Goodwin is fine,” said Marrone. “He just got a little scratch on his eye, but it wasn’t anything where he had broken blood vessels or anything.”

    Well we know we've just played out backups tonight, but my main concern is that with the last two preseason games, all of the wind is out of our sails. I really hope the locker room can get pumped up for the regular season. And then once again if NE doesn't go so well. Ugh.
