You guys gotta be kidding me. You wouldn't ship off Brown, EJ and picks for Eli? It immediately gives us a respectable QB and a chance to compete for championships imo. The trade will never happen but man would I jump at that trade. PS I feel like if we wanted to we could get Glennon in a trade. And I'm a big fan of Glennon.

I'm still ok with the trade. If there were a can't miss QB prospect where we would have been drafting, maybe I'd feel differently. Sammy is a phenomenon.

Of course. However, I also think they know Glennon can fetch decent compensation in a trade. I would trade a draft pick for him for sure. But, I'm a Glennon fan and think he can be a very successful QB.

I live on the planet where the Buccaneers are likely to draft a QB 1st. Assuming that occurs, in combination with McCown being on their roster, it's not unlikely at all that they will try to trade Glennon. Foles is less likely to be traded, imo. But, that's the assumption forming the foundation of this thread isn't it. Having either compete with EJ is as good a plan as any. And much of the talk this offseason has been referencing QBs under contract. Given the paucity of prospects on the FA market, I'm expecting us to trade for a QB, regardless of what we do in the draft.

Even if I attribute the EJ pick to Whaley, I still think he's been a good GM. QBs are a crapshoot, and he's brought a nice assortment of talent to the roster. My support (not that it means anything), however, is completely contingent on him fixing the OLine this offseason.
