I don't think he's that much of a loud mouth anymore to be honest. I think he was early on in New Jersey, and now the media grabs little soundbites out of context and generates clicks.
Glad he said it. He's absolutely right. I've been wondering if he and Tyrod have done any 1-on-1 stuff to build their rapport on routes. Hope we can feature him more in the gameplan when he's back.
Am I the only one who thinks Bradham's tackle on Mariota wasn't a close call? I'm surprised they even threw the flag. It was nowhere near a horsecollar, at all.
Still mad about the Graham call. Hell of a play Corey.
Glad there is a thread about this. The Graham call was abysmal. I was watching on game pass after the fact and still exclaimed out loud at that call. Absurd to the extreme. Great play by Graham.
I've been a big Whaley fan since he's taken over. I think he's done a tremendous job of building talent and shows some deftness with contracts as well. Really think he's one of the brightest spots in the organization.
Keep up the good work, Doug!
As many have mentioned, he doesn't really say much. Anything that can be stripped of content and packaged as Rex being a loudmouth is paraded out for clicks. The bummer is it works. Most people hate the guy.
