  1. I don't like canned hunts, but I'm sure he harvested the meat. Bison is some of the finest red meat bar none.
  2. Hunting with a rifle or bow is seriously difficult. Especially western style spot and stalk. I'd rather be shot by a gun if I were an animal, but either way it beats the hell out of being raised as stock in the meat industry.
  3. Canned hunts are not hunting. Ugh. Herd animals can indeed be difficult to hunt, but animals in a high-wall "hunting ranch" are not. It gives a bad name to hunting overall, which has a myriad of environmental benefits both direct and indirect. I'm too tired to write my whole schpeel right now, but I hunt because I am an environmentalist. I backpack into designated wilderness area and pack my meat out, as is legally required and the reason I hunt. Anyone who thinks real hunting isn't difficult is kidding themselves to the extreme. That said, I'm a westerner, and what hunting does for the land/animals and how it's done is incredibly different from eastern-style hunting, where there's much less big public wilderness.
  4. I don't think that's hyperbole. That's the worst playcall in a big time situation I've ever seen. I am truly baffled. And devastated. I hate those !@#$ers so much.
  5. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2015/01/29/value-of-a-qb-trade/
  6. The 9ers are a joke at the moment.
  7. Knew you'd be in here citing those contract numbers amigo. I am a definitely a Glennon fan, and would love to trade for him (he's not a FA). He'll run away with the starting job. Those contracts aren't exactly albatrosses, but you would need to offer compensation that would make up for the gap. I would do it, but I'm not Doug Whaley.
  8. I hope Whaley is just starting the smokescreens early for the draft. It is essential that we bring in more talent in the draft and a proven guard in FA in my opinion.
  9. Hasn't he only played like 2 games in the league?
  10. A lot to like about Garrett Grayson, but he does tend to stare down his receivers.
  11. I've seen him in person several times, and he can indeed really wing that pig. The release is definitely concerning though. I go back and forth on whether this is an issue. I can't say I ever really love the idea of using a QB coach to "change mechanics".
  12. Agreed. Demand alone will push Petty up. Although I think he's got 2nd round talent.
  13. Not hard for me. Seattle's a great city and I don't mind the Seahawks. Wilson, Sherman et al are awesome. I'm praying they utterly dismantle NE. I'm worried though, to be honest.
  14. buffalobills.com certainly appears to be pushing that Bryce Petty wagon...
  15. The tweet beINg referenced: Thurman Thomas @thurmanthomas · 19m19 minutes ago Shocked...... Wait
  16. At the time I posted last night there was only one outlet mentioning it.
  17. This a million times over. Seattle does not suffer the bandwagoners of the pats*, cowboys, steelers, packers, etc etc
  18. I really despise Eugene.
  19. /thread. But I'll breach my own "/thread" by saying that I would love to have the 90s unis as a throwback. I believe we'd need to shrink wrap the white helmets in red, however.
