  1. I would have voted for Tyrod, but what do I know.
  2. "Equally as inconsistent"? Hmm, from everything I've read and heard I would have guessed in terms of consistency: TT - Cassel - EJ. TT always seem to be ok with a few big plays (a relative term), sometimes EJ lights it up, sometimes he bombs, and Cassel started slow but might be picking it up. Man it's so interesting how there are so many different takes. Ah the offseason.
  3. Does anyone know if gamepass will have the preseason games recorded for watching later as well as live? I'm going to be away for a couple of them...
  4. I'd agree with this. For us poor souls who have not dedicated our posting to exclusively praising or bashing EJ, this conversation is insufferable. The EJ defenders/praisers/whathaveyou are every bit as bad as those who constantly bash him.
  5. If you listen to Rex's comments today, he was quick to lump in Tyrod as having a good practice as well immediately after a question about Cassel. He also said cassel won today, EJ yesterday, and Tyrod the two practices before that.
  6. Those were nice throws.
  7. I believe that was a joke by LeGOATski, not a real tweet.
  8. Despite the lovers and haters making the most noise, I think most of us understand that it would be great if he emerged given his physical skill set, but are concerned over his inconsistency showing no signs of abating. I don't think the media cares who looks better than who - they just want something that sounds alarming (aside from JoeB, who i think is now on a warpath against the twitter dissenters)
  9. That's what I would put my money on. Given the limited performances so far, he seems like the safe choice. I think the starters for the preseason games will be: Cassel, EJ, Taylor. My guess is Taylor eventually wins the starting role.
  10. Good lord is Hogan being considered as a high draft pick?
  11. Hope EJ can show these good days consistently. Would be nice if it turned into a two way race between EJ and Tyrod. Tyrod's been the most consistent in camp thus far if what we're hearing is accurate.
  12. Tyrod's going to take us to the super bowl. Kool-aid amigos. Get some.
  13. If I were a betting man, I think my money would be on Tyrod. Seems like a decent blend of day-to-day consistency mixed in with the big play or two that will win us games. Granted, it's hard to tell what's really going on without being there. And it's only been a week. Man I can't wait until the scrimmage + panthers!
  14. Whaley is one of the best things we've got going. QBs are a crapshoot. I fully expect him to start stockpiling mid-low round picks to package for a trade up for a shot at a high pick for next year. Assuming one of our guys doesn't take the job blow everyone away...lol
  15. I'm thrilled to hear that about the guard play. A real OLine, can you imagine??
  16. Very true. Bummed to hear he's struggled there, wonder what Astro has to say about it.
  17. Yep. Man I can't wait to see him in some games. Frankly I think he'll be 3rd in the pecking order for the first preseason game, so Rex can drop one of the other two way down and make it a two-man race between tyrod and EJ/Cassel the rest of the way. This is based on nothing in particular. I love my own outrageous speculation. I ought to post it more often haha.
  18. Very curious about Tyrod's intermediate game as well.
  19. Hope Rex is telling the truth about Kujo's injury not being too serious. EJ's inconsistant accuracy is such a bummer. I'm not saying 'doomed', and I'm not panicking, but those random misses in real games are drive killers. Hope he steps up or Tyrod takes it.
  20. He's definitely a favorite of mine. His desire to win is apparent in the way he plays.
  21. I know it's a bit amusing considering the source, but trent edwards and some other nfl'ers all mentioned tyrod when talking about the bills with me recently. First thing they all mentioned actually. Hope he beats Cassel. Preseason games will be very interesting that's for sure.
  22. Interesting to see these reporters and read Astro's notes. They're often at odds, and I trust Astro more.
  23. Thanks. I hope Tyrod keeps producing. If he keeps winning the accuracy sessions I don't see how he can lose.
