The two passes to deonte for 3rd down conversions were starting caliber, and just what people were clamoring for. On the second one the pocket was collapsing and he stepped up to throw. Add in the other throws, some again for conversions, and even the running plays and I think he's shown enough. Would love to see him after a lot of reps with the starters. He has some authority out there as it is.

Despite the sack, that's a hell of an opening drive from Tyrod.

I think Tyrod offers a lot and I really like him, but I'm not expecting much after a mediocre week of practice. Let's hope he's a "gamer".

I can't make up my mind if going against the browns on the short week hurts or favors Tyrod. Can't wait till the game. And I'm still excited by Cassel's repeated success. Whether he wins it outright or not I think we have a basic-level-of-adequacy QB. A ringing endorsement, I know.
