  1. amazing. #fire
  2. I honestly think that was more a media creation than anything else. Go back and listen to his press conferences leading up to that game.
  3. But did you guys see how excited the ref was to signal the field goal as good? He almost jumped for joy.
  4. It's been amusing watching Broncos fans believe he's waiting in the wings though. That fan base is hilarious. Whatever their front office does - from trades to draft picks - they support with unwavering conviction. It's like they're incapable of critical analysis. Hilarious. (I lived there for years)
  5. I hate that we play the chiefs after the pats****
  6. Right? Before the game I thought highly of Bowles, but he was on my nerves so much by the end that I have grown to dislike him quite a bit.
  7. Precisely my feelings as well.
  8. We were dying over hear as well. I'm so glad that's a GIF now. The crowd shots made me relish beating those clowns.
  9. They had a handful of horrible ball spots. It pissed me off for sure. I thought the first one (that was challenged) was so egregious that it was a good challenge. I guess I was wrong.
  10. I've never really jumped into the EJ fracas on here in earnest, but I don't think this is a great comparison. Tyrod has negative plays like Barry Sanders had negative plays - they're balanced out by the possibility of positive running plays a la the Titans game (note: I'm not equating Tyrod to Sanders as a player). EJ was a disappointment on the scrambling front (and as a passer, of course), so it was harder to endure his negative sacks/plays.
  11. In response to the bolded: I think FItz was more accurate than I've ever seen him. Aside from the very first series of the game and his quintessential 4th quarter pick, I was impressed with his accuracy (granted, it's relative to his tenure with the bills). He's a better quarterback now than when he was with us.
  12. One part of me is super jealous, because I so rarely go into a game actually believing we'll win. It's a defense mechanism of course, but my feelings are implicit. I can't force myself to be more confident in the team (although I'm usually pretty positive when we face the fish). For example, I'm already worried about laying an egg against the Chiefs. That being said, I'm never the type of person who revels in our misery like some here do. I really can't understand those folks. I'm so fired up from last night's win I've watched the game 2 more times (condensed)!
  13. Don't know if I trust this team to go on the kind on run that we'll need from the Chiefs - Jets. But, last night was a big character builder in my opinion and hopefully it galvanizes the team.
  14. Totally agree. That he's only played 8 7 NFL games and is producing like this is exciting. Can't wait to see his continued progression.
  15. Kiper et al led the charge. I hate that some folks want Whaley gone.
  16. Speaking of Fitz, I thought he was pretty dang accurate tonight, overall. I didn't notice those random wildly missed chekcdowns or slants he used to throw.
  17. He was superb.
  18. I agree that our O should have punched one of the many opportunities in. That being said, the emotions of this game, the times when it would have been easy to implode but we didn't - those are real learning moments and character builders for a team. Hell of a series. Surprised me to be frank. Maybe a little lucky on the 4th down throw.
  19. I was praying, so hard, that this was a peter pan link. !@#$.
  20. It would seem it's already happened. Until we can behave like choir boys out there, I expect more of the same.
  21. My pre-game mental state is usually acute stress.
  22. Dammit I want this game so bad. I will continue my lifelong trend of rarely feeling good about an upcoming game, but spare you guys any quantitative predictions.
