I was furious we took Allen over Rosen, but I'm also intrigued by Allen, and in isolation there's a a lot to like. He is accurate - quite accurate - when he has proper mechanics. I think this has been covered ad nauseam by other posters so I won't elaborate too much. All I'll say is that I hope our OLine can gel - and quickly
No excuse to buy and take pictures in that jersey when you're from central California. He also retweeted something about how Bills Mafia has nothing on Gronkowski family gatherings or some such pats* oriented joke. It seems that that he is/was somewhat of a pats* fan, and it's gross. Outside of this, he seems like a good kid.
I'd love it, but as other have mentioned, it doesn't make sense for Jordan. I do think we need someone who can keep on Allen about mechanics on a day-to-day level. Maybe Culley is that, but I'm not terribly confident given that he's always been a WR guy.
I honestly don't think there are many people who won't give Allen a chance. To me that line of reasoning seems like an extension of the pre-draft argument by those who wanted Allen. I wanted Rosen at the time, and I was pissed when we took Allen. However he is still an elite prospect, and I hope he's a legend. I think virtually all posters here feel that way. Enough with this narrative that some significant portion of Bills fans want him to fail. Hogwash.
Agree with everything being said here. I'd actually be fairly optimistic overall if I wasn't convinced Castillo was going to go with Bodine and Ducasse. Effing Castillo.
#PartyInTheBackfield is a thing at Stanford, and these two characters were often the catalyst. Absolutely thrilled with the Stanford + Bills connection. We may have to go to the pro-day again next year @Mark Vader
WOOOOHOOOOO! Terrible airplane internet so it took me forever to log in but I went ballistic when the tracker read HARRISON PHILLIPS!
Go Bills! Go Stanford! Can’t wait to watch what I heard was an awesome moment!
When his feet are right he is accurate, straight up. Can he make it a habit? How is he going to handle learning the little dump offs, slants, screens, etc. Fingers crossed.
