  1. It's not the SEC, but I do think you may be underestimating defenses in the PAC12
  2. So Denver will chase a QB high, I expect.
  3. I heard he can pee his name into concrete.
  4. You know, it's probably just offseason giddiness, but I think Beane could handle a bust and correct the damage (i.e. try again or get a solid FA) better than other GMs. He's willing to do what he needs to. It's so refreshing.
  5. Surely you jest.
  6. At the risk of getting flamed for starting a new thread (for me this is very rare, but today they're coming in fast and furious): there are two major QB questions out there, and I think most threads conflate the two, or end up with people advocating for who they want. This is an attempt to break the two apart. I think it's interesting to see the distribution of which QB people want, but almost more interesting to think about who the Bills covet.
  7. I've watched that game a few times, and he was quite good. I'd be happy if we drafted him. That said, there are two or three dropped interceptions in that game - one inexplicably that went right through the hands of the defender into the arms of the receiver for a long TD. Could use that mojo on the bills amirite
  8. Continuing the craziness of the offseason, my "Darnold meter", which I've named due to my fluctuating views on him, is high today. He has a real knack for making plays and can read the field quite well. I've seen games where I was unimpressed but he has a non-existent oline., Then I've seen games like Stanford, where he (sadly in my case) tore it up. Even the two interceptions in that game are forgivable. Tremendous DB acrobatics - both of them. Anyway, I suppose I'm rambling. What a fun day.
  9. I like the trade, and I'm a big fan of Cordy.
  10. I have no idea who they will take. I'm in for the big three: Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold. Darnold's got the lowest floor but highest ceiling of all three imo (which scares me, but I could understand the pick).
  11. It would be interesting for sure. I feel good about Rosen and Mayfield, and I've fluctuated on Darnold. Interestingly, my assessment of Darnold has increased over the past week or so (rewatched some of his games). If they take any of the three, I've got to give it to them. Heck of an offseason and it's early March.
  12. It would seem like an odd move, given that they would have to feel great about 3 quarterbacks. Darnold and Rosen could easily go 1-2.
  13. I did not envy him during Ohio State game. His oline was totally manhandled.
  14. Dawkins is getting a big opportunity. Hope he delivers. Cordy was great, I really like him and wish him well. Scratching my head a bit at the handful of folks pretending like he wasn't good.
  15. 4d chess. Ground up and in the freezer.
  16. I am so, so impressed with Beane. I said when he was hired that I wasn't a fan of it, seemed like bending the will to McDermott. I am so happy he seems to be making a habit of making me eat crow. What a fun gm.
  17. Would be incredible. I don't think our FO likes him, but I hope I'm wrong.
  18. He's not a bad option to trot out for a few games if need be. A whole season of Moore would be tough, however.
  19. Ironic grammar aside, can you elaborate on this?
  20. That's a good point.
  21. This thread has collectively had posters who advocate for each top 5 qbs, and on the flip side others who advocate against all of them as well. This draft year is the most interesting since 2004.
  22. That's an astute post. To be honest, the correlation between anxiety and success has got to be sky high.
  23. Death, taxes, and people losing their minds about the cost to move up in the draft.
