  1. Could be a last gasp attempt to get the Browns to take him #1 (say, if the Bills want Darnold). As was mentioned above, there are things to like about him, and he may have helped himself at the senior bowl, though he was inconsistent (shocker I know). A scary prospect.
  2. Endearing himself to fans with impressive pace. Lunchpail. High-motor. Etc.
  3. I don't think he's without flaws by any means, but I think he can read a defense and throw well. I'd like to see better pocket awareness and I have durability concerns. UCLA just doesn't impress me as a program though. How do you feel about Darnold? I'd be happy with him as well (and counter to Rosen, I love his pocket awareness)
  4. True, but watching a fair bit of Pac12 ball (mostly Stanford I'll admit), UCLA would have been truly bad without him.
  5. I think Beane is wary of the money Gaines will get on the open market. I expect us to sign another CB in the next week.
  6. It is going to be tricky. Do we trade with the Colts ahead of the draft and risk the Giants taking Rosen? I imagine the Giants aren't hot on a trade if they think they can get Barkley. What if we trade to 3 and someone gives the Giants a king's ransom and hops ahead? I think or FO only has eyes for Rosen or Darnold.
  7. I should add that while we had fun, the Williamseses did not yield results on the field.
  8. Remember how much fun we had with all the Williams on the team?
  9. There's a lot going on here...but it's apparent that Rosen is being treated as a proxy chip in a political debate. That and apparently one's support or rejection of Trump has anything to do with Christianity. I expect that McBeane want hard working professionals who aren't lockerroom cancers. An NFL team is a large group of folks, many of whom lean left, and many who lean right. I don't think his politics have anything to do with the Bills' evaluation of him.
  10. I'm not sure if it's athleticism as much as pocket awareness. Biggest flaw I can see in his game. Fwiw, I'd still be thrilled to draft him (but I'd want a legit Oline for him)
  11. I expect this is the case. Teams are huge. Hell, most of you guys probably played sports at some point. Some teammates probably thought you were a dbag. And you know that guy that you knew for sure was a dbag? Other guys were his buddy. Rosen seems like a driven guy who wants to succeed and is a blue chip prospect. The concussions are a concern, the rest is not. Just my $.02
  12. Hear hear.
  13. I'm pretty sure I can confidently say EJ is done as a QB in this league.
  14. What's wrong with Rosen in the lockerroom? Plenty of teammates have vouched for him.
  15. But mutually exclusive, the two versions are not.
  16. Thank you for this thread. Honestly. I think there are a lot of good points and the last one caps it all off.
  17. I have high hopes for Murph. Loved him at Stanford. Plus that tweet is awesome, heh.
  18. Lol. Exact same situation. This Review deserves thumbs up.
  19. Lol. Of course we are!
