  1. Over/under: two preseason series before there are at least 5 threads where the OP is 'concerned'
  2. Yup. Problem is a trade partner might positively insist on next year's 1 for the same reasons.
  3. Early on in the process, I didn't know what to think about Darnold. Rosen is more polished as a passer, and so I gravitated toward him. The more you watch Darnold, though, the more you get it. He reminds me of Roethlisberger. Great pocket presence, ability to make steps here and there to avoid the rush. Definitely got moxie. I think he'll pan out. Right now I have 4 tiers: Darnold/Rosen Mayfield Allen/Jackson (way down yonder on the Chattahoochee) Everyone else
  4. If we take Allen over Rosen...oof.
  5. I'm just steamed that no one reacted to my aaron maybin/quick first step comment. I gave you gold, folks. Gold.
  6. This is what I'm thinking about as well. Those effing cell phone shots.
  7. Plug and play QB. One more week. Please let us get this kid.
  8. So many moving pieces. The closer we get, the more I worry that the Giants will trade back with the Browns. I'm locked in on Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield, and as a true Bills fan, my defensive pessimism is on the rise as the draft approaches.
  9. It's all about the quick first step. You just can't teach that.
  10. Very very well done. Still chuckling.
  11. I like Lauletta, but this is the year to chase one of the two/three blue chip prospects.
  12. Seattle has markedly better weather imo. My favorite city in the US to be honest.
  13. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
  14. It's hard to exaggerate this point. He is entirely unfit for commentary.
  15. Honestly that's what's difficult about this draft. I like Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield. I imagine we'll have to hate one of them. God I hope the Jets pick Allen...but they won't.
  16. Rosen is the best pure passer in the draft. I'll be ecstatic. He'll like Buffalo just fine.
  17. Wholeheartedly disagree. And I don't think Wood was particularly good.
  18. Wood was overrated but Bodine is not an upgrade. He was the weak link in Cinci.
  19. I understand the reasoning, but I also think this approach has led to years of poor offensive showings. I'd like an influx of OL prospects from the draft, after we get our QB.
  20. Richie was a fantastic talent on the market due to extenuating circumstances. Signing journeymen guards is a recipe for disaster, especially if we end up with Rosen.
  21. I don't think it changes our QB plans, but I absolutely think it impacts the rest of our draft. Street FAs don't work, ask Doug Legursky. I'm a huge proponent of a strong OLine, and if you looked back at the 10 years of posting (and if you could see the 7 preceding years of lurking...yes, my TBD tenure has not been during great years in Bills history), I have rarely been comfortable with our situation...and our offenses have rarely amounted to much. Primary issue: QB, Secondary issue: OLine. If it were up to me, I'd take a QB first, OG second, LB or CB third, and then best OLine left with the rest of the picks. I can't believe Richie retired. Hoping he changes his mind.
  22. Well written. I hope it's fiction. I cannot fathom some of the responses here.
