    When his feet are right he is accurate, straight up. Can he make it a habit? How is he going to handle learning the little dump offs, slants, screens, etc. Fingers crossed.

    For draft prep, sure. But what about with the team? Right, but as mentioned he's always been a WR guy. I happen to think Allen actually is quite accurate when his footwork is right, and it's a matter of building that into a habit. A QB coach with a WR background probably does many things well, but I think it's fair to be concerned about mechanics work.

    We all know Allen has things to work on, and he seemed eager to meet them head on for the draft process. We've currently got David Culley, whose background is famously at a different position - wide receiver. Do you guys expect us to bring in an additional coach or mentor? If so, who do you have in mind?

    Excellent, top to bottom. I was devastated yesterday, but not because I don't see the upside in Allen, but because Rosen is already a pro-QB imo. Totally agree on the footwork and vertical passing game component.

    I'm really not trying to hound because I dig that you're as invested in all this like the rest of us, but folks complaining and bitching on draft night is totally appropriate. Lots of reasons to think he'll bust. Hope they're all wrong.

    Man you guys see it WAY differently than me, lol. Fans have every right to complain about a draft pick, but I don't believe that any Bills fan will root for the player to fail. Expect? Sure. Root? No.

    Man, do you believe that? I don't know if I do. I hate that we picked Allen over Rosen, and I would like nothing more than to be proven wrong for a long and stellar career.

    If Chark is there it's a no brainer. I expect the pick in the 3rd to be a CB or WR, but I am worried about our OL for sure. We have to hit on some OL picks in rounds 4-7. Pick several and hopefully one lights it up.

    To be fair, and I categorize myself as the audience for this comment, we didn't mortgage the future. I hope we show the guts to draft another QB high if Allen fails. Of course I hope he's the next big ben more...

    Polar opposite picks imo. D for Allen, A+ for Edmunds. Have to assume you weight QB higher, but at least we have future years' picks to take other QBs.

    You like him, and more power to you, but it seems like you're suggesting people shouldn't be allowed to express a snap judgement on draft night. That's lunacy. I'm devastated we picked Allen over Rosen, and I've made it known. Doesn't mean I'm not rooting for Allen on the deepest possible level.
