Keon has some major memory recall skills. I know they're just recalling obscure names they saw while playing NBA2K, but he really seems like a smart guy.

The only endorser who ever affected my purchasing was Kaepernick. Aside from a Bills jersey which has no other option, I haven't bought a Nike product since.

If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…

I'd add Groot & Benford to that, but good list. -
I'm not sure if Kyle Allen is much of an upgrade over Mitch, but I'd feel better about our chances if we had both of them than only 1 of them. We at least need some Mitch insurance.

I think the narrative this year is going to be "He's throwing to a bunch of nobodies", and that'll help his MVP case when he puts up the same numbers he's been doing. Turnovers should also improve without the 4 INTs when Gabe runs the wrong route.

Matt Milano had surgery for "significant bicep injury", out indefinitely
947 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
What about Nick Morrow? He had 95 tackles in 15 games for the Eagles last year, and 122 for the Bears in '22. He had 12 tackles in the Eagles' OT win over us last year. He picked off Josh in the 2020 game vs the Bears. The dude can play, and he's only 28. I like Dorian, but if he isn't quite ready to take the next step- Morrow or even Deion Jones are better fill-ins than we've ever had in the current era. I haven't heard Morrow's name mentioned this preseason, so who knows what McD thinks. -
With his age being only 21, they'll surely opt for meniscus repair. That's a 6 month recovery & higher probability for complications. If that's the route they go, doubtful he plays this season.

I subscribed a few months ago for my son. He's a high school QB & uses it for film study- diagnosing coverage, etc. It has the All-22 film from every game, it's really good for that. He watches on a laptop or tablet, been viewing random games from last season- though mostly Bills'. Once this season's games start. I'm sure I'll be using it too.

So that's 2 bad drops/fumbles for Cook today alone 🤮

Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief
947 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worthy was smaller than the lady who interviewed him after his record-breaking 40. It was that moment that confirmed to me that I did not want Beane to draft him. -
6'1" 180, had offers from Michigan State, Pitt, Western Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, & Alabama State. Hasn't played his HS senior season yet, but definitely a D1 talent.

Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
947 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Somebody's getting 1,000 yards+. With 17 games now, 59 yards per game comes out to 1,003- that's not really a huge feat anymore. It'll have to be either Kincaid, Shakir, or Keon, not sure which, but one of them will do it. -
Cook doesn't have bad hands, but he absolutely does have an issue with concentration drops. There's a difference. You don't catch 40 yard wheel routes over the shoulder in full stride in the college football playoffs with bad hands. That said, Cook had some costly drops last season & a few that would've put games away. It's a problem that needs to be fixed, hopefully Davis is the motivation to do that.

I was at a Chicago White Sox playoff game in 2000, Chris Berman & Rick Sutcliffe were the announcers. It was a day game, and we had a skybox. We stayed late after the game, enjoying the free beer & hanging out in the box. When we were finally told we had to leave, we were the only people left in the hallway, and were waiting for the elevator. Berman & Sutcliffe walked out of the booth right next to us & were headed to the private staff elevator, so we started talking to them. Berman was awesome, but Sutcliffe seemed annoyed talking to a group of drunk guys. As they were getting on their elevator, somebody in our group asked Berman who was gonna win the SuperBowl, and he said the Raiders. I said " but you said Buffalo was gonna was gonna win it a few weeks ago" (which he did). He said "yeah, but..." and the elevator closed. 20+ years later, I still wonder what Berman was gonna say from time to time.

What Bills road trips are you doing this year?
947 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either Indy or Detroit. Both very driveable for me, it'll depend on the dates. -
Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
947 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't understand how anybody thinks Shorter has a chance to make the roster. I consider Hollins, Hamler, & Claypool all much more likely than Shorter. -

I have no doubt that Beane had intel on the Chiefs & knew they were moving up for Worthy. If the thought of Worthy playing for KC frightened Beane in the slightest, or he wanted Worthy for the Bills at all- he wouldn't have taken their offer. People act like Beane got taken advantage of, when in reality, he knew exactly what he was doing. He probably laughed to himself while he clicked "accept".

Chiefs Bills Playoff Replay / Bass Kicking
947 replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
There had to be an injury we don't know about to go from nailing 55+ yarders to punting instead of attempting 49 yarders. -
I guess he's competing with Shorter & Hollins for the old Kumerow role.

Fact vs Fiction: "Keon Coleman is not a separator"
947 replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman is not slow, he just ran a slow 40yd dash, there's a difference. The 40 is a track event- not a football event. His track start was awful & clearly cost him time. It's a good thing that 0% of routes in football require you to start in a track stance. I'd bet if Coleman spent a week or 2 with a track coach he'd run 4.50ish, without even getting any faster, just learning how to start properly. The 40 is a great indicator of overall speed, but only if you master how to run it. It can be a poor indicator if track form is out of whack. Exhibit A: Go watch Josh Allen's 40 from the combine, it was horrendous. It looks like he never trained with a track coach before the combine, his start & running technique are so wrong. Josh is so much faster in game than he showed in this track drill while wearing shorts. We should be thankful that he ran a 4.6, because if he ran a 4.50, he wouldn't have made it to us in the draft. -
If you watch Bishop's first interview at OBD, he says that he can play both FS & SS equally. His first 2 years at Utah, he only played SS. In the '23 season he played exclusively one half of the field & that ended up being either FS or SS depending on the play, it was a pretty even split.

Boldin was drafted a year before Larry Fitzgerald. Boldin was the only WR Arizona had his rookie year- and he put up 101 catches, 1377 yards, & 8 TDs.

Ok, they obviously don't want Troy Franklin, at least come away with Tez Walker. I also really like Brendan Rice & Jalen Coker.
