  1. I think Ray has looked good aside from yesterday. He's also a very good receiver, but hasn't been used that way in a few weeks.
  2. The Receiver percentages are skewed because we've spent 2 halves, the equivalent of an entire game & 1/3 of our season, just running out the clock & not really trying to do anything offensively.
  3. Rapp's hit to Taron's forearm was a dumb play. Taron already had secured the tackle & the ballcarrier was a millisecond from being completely down. Rapp fired in head-first to put a shot on the offensive player, and all he hit was Taron's arm which was wrapped around the chest. If he'd just helped bring the guy down, all would be well. I love how Rapp hits, but he didn't need to lay the wood on that play.
  4. Coaching has been great on both sides of the ball. The only issue I see is the ultra-conservative approach once we get a lead. I understand milking the clock, but McD has been known to do it earlier in the game & with less of a lead than other coaches. Running into a wall for an obvious no gain on 3rd down & playing Prevent-D on the first drive of the 2nd half is too extreme for me. It worked in the Jags game, but tried to bite us in the rear vs the Cardinals. If we get conservative with a lead against teams like the Chiefs/Texans/Ravens, we could regret it. I'd love to see McD really close out games.
  5. Here's the photo w/o the Gatorade logo. You could crop out the text & get it printed. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GOx-JqPX0AAy_5K?format=jpg&name=large
  6. Bills- 34 Jags- 20
  7. They have 5 healthy LBs going into this game: Dorian, Spector, Morrow, Andreesen, & Ulofoshio. I guess they feel OK with that, but I am surprised they didn't at least add a LB to the PS.
  8. If I wanted to watch 4 games at once on 4 separate tiny TVs, I'd do so. Just stop with the multi-screen. I have a 65" TV and when they go to 4 boxes, with all the dead space on the screen, it's about the same as watching a game on my phone. When RedZone started, it was perfect. They'd show you a play in full screen, then switch to another game to show you that play- even it happened 10 seconds ago. Those were the days. This week, I found myself just streaming individual games when there was action I wanted to see, but it was in a tiny window on RedZone.
  9. I voted Burrow, and I think was #3 the past 2 years, but after watching him yesterday, he's just not near that level. I don't think there is a QB3, there's just "everybody else".
  10. My initial reaction when we drafted Benford was "Oh great, we drafted another CB, we usually do that in half of the late rounds..." Then i looked into him & saw that would likely be a great fit for our scheme. I'm really glad they found him, dude is playing elite right now.
  11. This is Young on his first day of 7th Grade.. I mean the first day of Panthers Camp 2024.
  12. Bryce Young is the reason Frank Reich was fired by the Panthers 11 games into his tenure there. He adamantly did not want to draft Young & pushed for Stroud, they drafted him anyway & stuck Reich with a huge mess. I have to imagine the relationship was strained beyond repair before Bryce even showed up to the facility. In all honestly, I thought both Young & Stroud would be busts.
  13. Well nobody hires Defensive HC's anymore, so it won't be Babich. He may get a HC interview or 2, but he's not going anywhere.
  14. Bishop was a SS his junior season at Utah. His senior year, he played exclusively 1 side of the field, so depending on the play- he was either FS or SS. He can play both Safety spots.
  15. On the one to MVS, Josh was under heavy pressure & had it let it go early. If he had another half second, it could've been a big hitter. He put it where the only 2 outcomes were MVS might have a chance or it's incomplete, I'm OK with it.
  16. I saw one get called in the Monday night game, and the very next play the OL lined up exactly as they had the play before... no call.
  17. At halftime, I realized we'd forgotten to put my dog's Bills t-shirt on, he wore it during every win the past 2 seasons. We found it & put it on him, the rest is history...
  18. We ran on 1st down something like 10 of the last 11 series. Too predictable, and we failed to take advantage of all the 1st down run blitzes.
  19. I wish we could make Defensive adjustments on the fly. Why does any change on D have to wait until halftime with McD?
  20. Rough Game Award goes to Torrence. At least 3 penalties & was beaten badly a few times.
  21. Where's Ray Davis? Ty was in for a few plays. I'm tired of McD's handling of rookies.
  22. Based on that timeline, it sounds like a Grade 2 MCL sprain, recovery is typically 6 weeks. I've had a grade 2, and came back to activity before my knee was fully ready at about 5 weeks... I then promptly tore my meniscus & needed surgery.
  23. Worthy scored on a gadget run play, we all knew he would be able do that sometimes in the NFL, no surprise there. Aside from a receiving TD, on which he was left completely uncovered, he had 1 catch for 12 yards & had trouble getting off press. I'm not worried that we passed on him.
  24. He may still have a more than ideal amount of INTs, but it'll be about 4 less than it would've been with Gabe still on the team.
