  1. I think he drops to Round 3, maybe even 4. There's no guarantee he regains 100% strength in the torn pec, ever. On top of that, it's really doubtful he'd be able to play this year. Of course he says he'll be ready for camp, he just lost millions of dollars with this injury and is doing damage control. I'd be OK with the risk with our 3rd rounder, but no more than that.
  2. There's 0% chance of this draft actually happening, but even with no OL drafted, this would be the best ever. I wanted to draft OL in the 2nd, but couldn't pass Vander Esch there. 21: R1P21 LB RASHAAN EVANS ALABAMA 22: R1P22 DL VITA VEA WASHINGTON 53: R2P21 QB JOSH ALLEN WYOMING 56: R2P24 LB LEIGHTON VANDER ESCH BOISE STATE 96: R3P32 WR DEONTAY BURNETT USC 121: R4P21 EDGE JOSH SWEAT FLORIDA STATE 158: R5P21 RB BO SCARBROUGH ALABAMA 166: R5P29 CB DARIOUS WILLIAMS UAB
  3. I would love this. Vander Esch or Rashan Evans along with a DT at 21/22, then QB in the 2nd and sign a vet.
  4. Foles was barely adequate in the regular season games he started after Wentz went down. Yes, he was fantastic in the playoffs, but who knows if he can do that again. I'd be on-board with him for a 2nd, but there's no way he's worth more than that. Nobody is paying a 1st for Foles.
  5. I think he'd be a great fit, but yeah, too expensive. We could probably get 2 new starting LBs for the $10M it'd cost for Zach Brown, and that's what we need.
  6. I really doubt anybody offers Stewart more than the veteran minumum. Let another team waste cap space on him, he really wouldn't be any better than Tolbert.
  7. I'm starting to warm up to Jackson. I think with the right OC, he can be a good NFL starter. I'd be ok with him at 21 or 22, but I don't think he warrants a trade-up.
  8. No Darnold or Allen. Both will be forgotten busts within 3 years like Jake Locker or Joey Harrington. I'd be OK with a trade up for Mayfield. Or Rosen, but that'd be too expensive for my tastes.
  9. My big fear is we give up 3 first rounders for Darnold or Allen. Those guys are very high bust risks, it wouldset us back years. Please... no! Sit tight, and if Mayfield somehow falls out of the top-10, then start looking to move up. But only for a 1st & a 2nd, plus a low round pick if needed.
  10. There is now way anybody trades anything for Tyrod, he's not even worth a 6th rounder to other teams. Even if a team did want him, they know he'll be cut & will wait it out.
  11. Anybody know of a place in the western burbs? I see there's a place up in Streamwood, but that's almost an hour drive, same as going downtown for me. Too much to drive home after 4 hours of beers...
  12. I think Peterman will pass Cardale by the end off rookie minicamp. The new staff has no tie to Cardale and I really don't expect him to have any shot here. Peterman will be our #2 on opening day, and will probably get some starts when Tyrod gets banged up.
  13. The Rule of 26-27-60 is used to predict the success of future NFL quarterbacks. The rule proposes that if a NFL prospect scored at least a 26 on the Wonderlic test, started at least 27 games in college, and completed at least 60 percent of his passes, he would succeed in the NFL, if he did not meet all three criteria, he would fail. Peterman started 30+ games, completed 60.1%, and scored a 33 on the Wonderlic (same as Brady). Trent Edwards started 30+ games & scored 31 on the Wonderlic. But only completed 56%. Using this formula- Peterman has a better chance of NFL success.
  14. The last 6'4" WR prospect that TBD posters were enamoured with was Limas Sweed. Remember him? We had the 11th pick that year & many posters wanted Sweed at 11. Sweed ran a 4.50 at his Pro Day. He slipped to the 2nd round, was too slow to get separation at the NFL level & washed out. Mike Williams reminds me a lot of him. Prototype West Coast Offense WRs like Mike Williams or Sweed aren't valued like they were 20 years go. Todays NFL requires WRs to get quick separation. Williams should not be considered until late 1st round.
  15. Kelvin Benjamin also ran a 4.53 at his Pro Day in 2014. He doesn't get much separation at all, and is only slighly more than a jump-ball specialist. I say No to Mike Williams at #10. A top-10 WR has to be able to get separation againbst NFL CBs, Corey Davis or best available non-WR.
  16. Definitely. Re-sign Hunter as WR4, Draft our WR2, pick up another FA as WR3, and we're set.
  17. Lookin' for Love in Alterraun places.
  18. He had 38 catches & 4 TDs in the regular season. Sure, a nice year, but let's not talk about him like he tore the league up. His last game was great, but will certaily be his best career game no matter how long he plays. But, yeah, I wish he was still a Bill.
  19. I think you guys are underestimating the Falcons run game. I know we had the most rushing yards, but they may be the most dangerous run game in the league this year. I fully expect an Atlanta victory.
  20. As much as Iove Mike Williams, with a Defensive HC and nothing at Safety, I'd bet the #10 pick is one of the blue chip Safeties.
  21. Lorax will need to be at 10 sacks by Week 8 to get noticed enough for people outside of WNY to vote for him. At his current pace, that could happen. McCoy & Hughes are shoo-ins. As good as Zach Brown has been, Bills players just don't get the same national exposure as many teams. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he gets overlooked for a vet who doesn't belong anywhere near the Pro Bowl. I think he'll be an injury replacement & go anywyay though.
  22. I think Woods is a solid WR2 in the NFL. Woods was hurt all last year & played through it, plus he & Clay were both very under-utilized last year. Sammy & Woods will be a top-10 WR duo this year.
  23. I own: Thurman Moulds Bledsoe TKO Spikes Stevie Sammy The Thurman is a mitchell & ness throwback, I wear it sometimes on gamedays. Other than Sammy, that's the only one not covered in dust.
  24. I liked him a lot when he came into the league, but Joique is toast now, he seriously has nothing left. I'm surprised he's getting a look from any team, let alone us. This would be a horrific signing.
