  1. I don't think he has much left, but I'm sure somebody will sign him. He'll be OK for the 5-6 games he's healthy & active. I'd rather have Gabe than Julio at this point, and it's not even close.
  2. I saw Fromm playing for the Giants while game-surfing & decided to watch & see how he looked. He was as bad as any QB I've ever watched. He had no poise, happy feet, throwing off his back foot, missing horribly. I'll be shocked if he ends up on any team, that tape will make GMs run away.
  3. Foreman "ran" in the 4.4s back before he tore his achilles, highly unlikely he's close to that anymore. He did fill in well for Derrick Henry, but without the Titans run-heavy system, he's just an average backup RB in my opinion. $2M sounds about right.
  4. The Ertz situation involved a trade, and Philly was asking too much. At least Jones is just a dollar amount. I'm still somewhat confident.
  5. I'm starting to worry about Ford even being one the backup OGs, which he will be if we don't add 2 more IOLs from FA/draft. I don't see anything changing with him, regardless of who coaches him.
  6. Wow. Nobody else was gonna pay Zay more than $4M/year, I guess Jags gonna Jag.
  7. We still need to add another OG as a backup & a backup Center, maybe a guy in the draft who can do both. We can't count on Boettger for anything, he was replacement level at-best before the worst injury possible for a football player. If he makes it back, doubtful it'll be in 22'.
  8. Ragland did get us Hughes. Jack would be a distant memory if we had drafted him then.
  9. My wife just got me a framed version of this for my office. It's on canvas, but small (7" x7" or so), I don't think a large version would look as cool.
  10. I like Jerrick McKinnon, he looked really good for KC, but there's a 0% chance we're signing more than 1 FA RB.
  11. Nobody is gonna trade for Bradberry with that contract, he's likely to get cut as this is a cap-reset year for the Giants. Well, maybe the Rams would trade their 2030 1st rounder for him, if they even still have it.
  12. I like Jameson, but he isn't a lock to even play in 2022. Best case scenario would probably be him missing 10 or so games. Even if we draft him, we can't count an anything from him this year, he'd be a pick for the future. We'd definitely need to add a FA WR in addition to him, unless we keep both Beasley & McKenzie.
  13. I'd be OK with Hunt on a 1-2 year deal. Not exactly a process guy... but he's exactly the type of RB we need. We can't waste any more years of our window because we stay away from all players who aren't choir boys. Marcus Robinson, on the other hand, makes no sense. He does exactly what Gabe does, only he's 6 years older and would cost 10x as much.
  14. Don't forget, Edmunds is still only 17 years old. One of these years, he's really going to show us a whole new level...
  15. AP never tore his achilles. To date, the biggest post-achilles success story is D'Onta Foreman with 133 carries for 566 yards & 3 TDs in 2021. Here's the list of all NFL RBs from 2000-2020 who've torn their achilles, and how fast they were out of the league: Now we also have Cam Akers. He has not looked great, but I guess has the best chance to be the first to have a post-achilles career. I just wouldn't bet on anyone doing it.
  16. No to Marlon Mack. If he goes on to have NFL success post-achilles tear, he'll be first RB to do it in NFL history. Let somebody else gamble on that... I like the rest of those possibilities though, particularly Ogbah & Corbett.
  17. I like the McKinnon & Mostert suggestions, but they'll both be 30 before next season. Both have had major injury issues, yet haven't logged a whole lot of career touches. They'd have to come cheap considering those concerns, but I like it.
  18. 1. You've been a fan since - 1989. Born & raised in Chicago-area, loved the mid 80s Bears as a kid, but decided Bills were my team in 89' & never paid attention to the Bears again. 2. Your first Bills memory - Beebe getting somersaulted onto his head vs Browns in 89' playoffs. 3. One of your favorite Bills memories - When we signed Bryce Paup. I've never been so excited over a FA/trade acquisition since. Maybe because I was still a teen, but it was like Christmas morning for me. 4. Your favorite player of all time and your favorite player currently - Bruce/Josh 5. Some of you guys have some awesome forum names. What does your forum name say about you? - Lucky number
  19. I really wanted Isabella in the draft. He's surprisingly barely been used by Arizona, 31 catches in 36 career games (49 targets) over 3 seasons in a heavy passing offense. I'd love to get him, but if AZ loses Kirk, they probably have a use for Isabella & will keep him.
  20. Just watched a Muma 2021 highlight vid. Noy only is a he a playmaker, he tackles guys low & drives them back nearly every time, something I've only seen Edmunds do a handful of times in 4 years. Sign me up. That said, I'm not sure a LB from Wyoming who isn't particularly fast is going in the 2nd round. He's also diabetic, that may drop him to round 3-4.
  21. Looks just like the WNBA Championship parade they had in Chicago a few months ago.
  22. I just pray they don't end up with Rodgers. I'm not sure if that's even a possibility with their cap situation, but a scary thought. If/when Trubisky leaves, I think Wentz could be a decent option as Josh's backup. I'd much rather have him than Dalton or Tyrod...
  23. For those questioning Sam Mills, here's some insight. Remember that it's the "Pro Football Hall of Fame", not the NFL Hall of Fame, his USFL career counts. Mills was All-USFL all 3 seasons he played there (all-pro equivalent), won 2 Championships, and a member of the USFL All-Time team. He didn't play in the NFL until he was 27, and still made 5 Pro Bowls, also 3 top-10 finishes for DPOY. Mills was an absolute beast, and an inspirational player & person. Watch his "A Football Life" episode, it's the best episode I've seen.
  24. Totally agree with you. A few contributing factors off the top my head: - It seemed like we ran less crossing routes than in we did in 2020, especially early in the season. - Beasley wasn't breaking away like prior years, going down within 2-3 yards of the catch more than he used to. - Diggs was bracketed the majority of the time & didn't have as many YAC opportunities. - The OL was pretty bad for more than half of the season, causing Josh to get rid of the ball early, resulting in more low passes that had receivers sliding down to catch. - We barely used Gabe Davis for half the year, and he's solid in YAC.
  25. I posted some harsh criticism on Knox prior to this season, and was annoyed when we cut Hollister with no proven TE on the roster. Knox made me eat my words. He's not only good enough, but he's the stud TE we've been looking for forever. I hope we do lock him up a year early.
