maybe we put our older players on the HGH therapy that the Pats are feeding their LBs.. would it be worth it for us to give Brooks a 1-2 year contract and not play every down? is Brooks primarily a pass play or run play linebacker? his Tampa 2 experience is useful, but don't we use a modified Tampa 2 system?

he does sound more athletic than Langston Walker if anything - this is definitely a project for Coach Kugler.. any suggestions on how the coaching can instill a mean streak in the line guys? maybe he spends more time around rookies Levitre and Wood.. those kids sound really bada$$!!

this is definitely going over the top.. but does it really affect the team in any way, negative or positive? i don't see how handing him the keys to the city changes how he plays on the field, which is what we are really concerned about

what will it take for Fewell to get our secondary to stop playing 5-10 yards off the receivers?? a new defensive coordinator methinks..

some of the categories the Bills were statistically weak in last year were: passing TDs -adding TO is a plus here. -reworking the OL should also be a plus if things work out as planned. pass rush & sacks -adding Maybin should be a plus if he works out well. -secondary has been bolstered too. 3rd down defense -directly related to the lack of pass rush. -not much has changed here otherwise, and could still be a crucial problem. these changes should make us a better team. at the same time, we play a harder schedule this year too, which woudl balance that off. are we looking at another 0-6 divisional record and 7-9 season? i hope not.

no doubt that between free agency pickups and the draft we have added quite a few strong players now it's up to the coaching to make them all gel and be effective

i don't expect the defense to be any worse than last year - they were bad on 3rd down situations, and can only really get better.. i hope! apart from the two rookies, we have a backup playing centre.. no guarantees of stability there. add walker at LT and we have a lot of potential issues.. i still maintain though that coaching is what will make/break us. a good coaching unit can make a group of average guys overachieve. a poor coaching unit like ours can steal defeat from the jaws of victory, multiple times in a season.
