  1. yeouch, but true. trade away the one sure thing we have for giving our offense great starting position
  2. Now this i like!!
  3. I'm with you there.. I'd rather he did what he was getting paid for first, and did it better.. before trying to go out and improve the community. If anyone could not do their job well, but tried to win favor by organizing office parties, recycling roundups and the like, I don't see him/her keeping that job for very long.
  4. you got that right!
  5. If I were Parrish, I'd realize that being a special teams magician was not enough to hold a place down on the roster, even on a ST-oriented team like the Bills. Also I would be looking over my shoulder and practice being a better WR because Stevie Johnson is proving himself to be more useful to the offense.
  6. he just never looked comfortable on the field as a QB - he didn't seem to have the sixth sense about incoming pressure that the better QBs have
  7. that's not a bad idea.. Urlacher's mediocre year last year has often been attributed to Hillenmeyer being out injured.. here's what the Bears think of him
  8. i just read about this, that the NFL has allowed teams to work with state lottery boards link this could be a solid source of money for the teams
  9. moan moan whine whine.. i love this board, it always grounds me again whenever the sun's shining outside and i'm having a great day.. no team will always be great, and no team will always be basement jacks (except Detroit)..
  10. I don't know about that - why would a QB's W/L record justify games that the defense played like crap??
  11. yeah.. .. .. .. one would hope if he had the ability then he would have done it by now. it's an interesting concept though, Peter King had this story about Leon Washington of the New Jersey Jets.. (scroll down to the part about 'What I Learned About Football.. ')
  12. since even the commentators could already tell what plays our offense will be running next, a combination of a visor and more inventive play-calling might help
  13. good going with the sarcasm folks.. it'll help while away the time until the season starts
  14. i'd settle for just seeing the opposition QBs getting hustled even if we weren't getting many actual sacks.. it was very frustrating to see the other team's QB open up the picnic basket and have a dainty little tea party waiting for receivers to open up
  15. i met one of his female personalities in Rocha-cha.. Tallula will be right at home in the Big Easy
  16. how about we throw in one of our ST receivers since the whole world has already decided Heyward-Bey is going to be a bust
  17. Sully was being very down-to-earth and non-opinionated for a change.. i for one am hoping Schobel has a monster season!
  18. we knew what we were getting when we picked Hardy.. he had never played in a pro-style offense before, he was still learning how to run routes into the regular season.. our coaches had thought he would learn faster than he ended up doing.. besides, the Broncos had 386 completions on 620 pass attempts for the season, compared to 309 out of 479 for the Bills - Hardy was never the main focus of our passing while Royal was used as their key 2nd receiver. i still think Hardy is a bust but would love to be proved wrong..
  19. He'd better leave these in the offseason and get some real ones this year..
  20. sorry about that.. i did mean of the other three apart from Lynch - Jackson, Rhodes & Omon
  21. we had 14 passing TDs last season in 16 games.. even predicting we'll get 21 passing TDs means assuming 50% better production in that department.. so here's an honest guess, 20 passing TDs for the year: a couple here and there to Beastmode, Fast Freddie & Loads of Rhodes a couple between Roscoe, Reed & the TEs which leaves about 14-15 between TO and Lee, when they should each be hauling in that much i'm depressed now
  22. who's the best 3rd-&-short or 4th-&-short back of the three? i hate to count the number of times we've thrown away good drives because of failing to convert short downs
  23. bye bye Kornholio.. hello Chucky
  24. well you better be scared of Leon Washington then.. he humiliated us both times we played against them, both running the ball and catching it out of the backfield.. he's a gamebreaker and our coaching failed us both times by not planning for him
