so how about we pick up Moss.. play him a couple of weeks whether he likes it or not, then cut him if it's not working out?! if we pick him up at this time, even temporarily, what do we have to lose? how does it work, is Minny paying him till the end of the year?

The Patsies don't need Moron-ey to run the ball.. even their 3rd string backup law-firm-named dude ran all over us. An intense pass rush might be just about the only way to get it done. With holdouts and injuries this might be the weakest their O-line has been in a decade.. yet it's light years ahead of our O-line.

If Jauron isn't fired in 24 hours, it can only mean ...

i hear you. i am done spending any time, money or effort on this team until either the owner, the management, the coaching or the players show some sort of spine to indicate that they are willing to make changes. this cannot go on. -
i think he's thinking Henderson
-
i like the idea that players should rally around TO.. i'm not sure how the team feels about his one-crucial-drop-per-game policy. it's the kind of thing that makes your teammates trust you less with the ball.

FIRST OFFENSIVE PLAY OF THE GAME
djcalvin79 replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
really easy to pile on the team when they're doing badly isn't it? -
Correction: McGee and Reed are questionable, inactives not named yet
-
Did I just see that McGee is out for today's game?? Was on the ticker on ESPN, but not sure if I saw right!

Why the Saints offense does not scare me
djcalvin79 replied to GrudginglyOptimistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
penalties. we have to watch out for boneheaded penalties. the last thing we need is to give them short fields and yards that they will have no problem gaining anyways. -
Levy Found Great Character in Whitner...

Looks like Huff finally put it together, and hopefully Donte is in the zone for the rest of the season too.. Go Bills! (Haven't we noticed that we've had better luck with Buckeyes than Longhorns??) -

Not unless you are Rex Ryan -
Where the announcers right in tampa game?
djcalvin79 replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't know the exact numbers, but TO averages about one big drop per game over the last few seasons.. so far he is keeping up to that stat. the dropped ball was not Trent's fault, his only poor throw of the day was the INT -
I thought I had seen Jimbo at the MNF game last week, so I'm guessing he did have pressing matters.

dicks's new look was the key to the game
djcalvin79 replied to Robert Paulson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i quite liked 'the iceman cometh' look.. maybe it helps everyone if they don't see the fear/nervousness in his eyes -
kudos to the D yesterday, we had quite a few open field tackles, where the first guy to make contact wrapped up the ball-carrier, even on special teams returns too. towards the end of the game you could sense that the D smelled victory, the hits were just that much harder and people getting to the ball-carrier that much faster.
-
That's an excellent way for him to get some in-game experience, riding the timber. After all, it would be pointless getting him some snaps with the first team defense against a weak team, at a home game.

Next weeks game should be interesting...
djcalvin79 replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agreed, this one should be fun to watch. i'd like to see the D lay some lumber on Brees, shake him up a little. the same goes for the tall skinny receivers Colston, Meachem, Moore and the lot, make them 'pay the price' after catch as someone above noted. also, i'd like to see us play some mind games with Shockey, get under his skin and let him shoot his mouth off -
Who is Jonathan Scott?
djcalvin79 replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
some game reviews note that Scott played well when he came on.. my opinion was that he wasn't doing a great job keeping Trent clean, and the runs to the right weren't gaining much either. Coach Kugler needs to work on him some more.. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
djcalvin79 replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
major props to the pass rush unit, D-ends, D-tackles and the LBs.. i don;t care if the Bucs sack or have a bad O-line, Fewell did not let up right till the end which is the way to do it! in the 4th qtr Kawika smelled blood, he spent more time on their side of the LOS than ours!! for all the critics who think we shouldn't revel in beating a bad team.. i say we should pat ourselves in the back for a dominating performance. excellent morale booster this before the Saints game. -
4th and short--QUICK snap and we were ready!
djcalvin79 replied to jeffsimon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i agree.. there was a lot of trash talk on this board before the season about Ellison, but to my untrained eye he looked like he was all over the field on Monday, made a few tackles, and guess what, he's still on the field and will be playing on Sunday. what use is it to the team having a monster like Poz who can't stay on the field for the full season - shades of Timmy Connolly of the Sabres!!
