  1. Wiley yes. Vincent was a mouthy fool bythe time he got to Buffalo, just a troublemaker.
  2. Who will have the better overall career. Neck and neck so far between Ellis and Maybin. They are both about an inch from the starting line.
  3. Agreed. Big fugly hairy bastard, would make a great bar brawler.
  4. He certainly did seem to work through his blocks more completely than other on the Bills
  5. Stop creating infantile threads. Kelly for Head Coach smacks of an infantile idea. Is this the over 40 real incarnation of DELLAPELLE JOHN?
  6. He bulks up and strengthens some more, has a good mini camp and pre-season, and gets quality backup time next season. 5 sacks off the edge for 2010.
  7. Both physically and mentaqlly he appears immature (very light frame, and the overactive celebrations at ordinary tackles). But, at least he does not appear to be a thug; seems a well-spoken, gentlemanly young man who potnetially will grow in all aspects. I am far from giving up on him he may well turn out. On the other hand it seems equally likley that ORakpo has just amassed more sacks in his rookie season than maybin will in his entire career. Just like Byrd in his rookie season has eclipsed what will eventually by Lil Dontes career interception number.
  8. Why would you think he can coach at the highest level there is, first coaching stop? Orchard Park High, yes, hire him. Bills, let's get a professional please.
  9. George Wilson probably deserves a new signing bonus and a raise. Fred Jackson even though he just got one, unless he already got a 1000 yard bonus. And Stroud is getting paid so much, maybe our DT that DID make the pro-bowl is ready for some extra bling. D Bell?
  10. So true, Atlanta seems to be a fav place for current and ex NFLers to live. There are a surprising amount of ex bills and sabres though, who DO end up making Buffalo or East Aurora or Orchard Park, their permanent homes. IF you have money and don't need an ongoing reasonably high income, Buffalo is a wonderful place to live and raise a family and that is pretty well recognized by ex players and those who spend some time there. Even Losman said he would love to live in Buffalo long term and kept his residence there for quite a while.
  11. So by the best account, we overpicked him by 19 picks. Instead of taking rthe guy that surprisingly FELL to us, Ngata, we went way the other direction. Is Marv avail to take over as head coach this go round?
  12. it was a more than fair assessent; clearly, we need a qb. What is he supposed to say, Trent is excellent and can't wait to see what trent can do next year?
  13. Talley also for me was great. Fred Jackson is growing on me though, man I love that guys attitude and growing body of work. Coe College!!
  14. I was reacting to others previous dire assessments of how TO would react. He gets no more credit than anyone else. But, he gets no LESS credit either. Anyway I liked what he had to wsay. WHER CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE HATS????
  15. Threw no-one including Buffalo, under the bus. Did mention that Jason Peters trade was 'unfortunate'. Other than that, total pro, and positive about the team and Buffalo.
  16. Glad DJ saved his legs by wisely keeping him behind Anthony Thomas for a couple of years. New incoming coach should have something to work with now.
  17. I guess thats where I said the first 10 million should be exempt from any inheritance tax.... Still dont see why some families should be eternally rich and hoarding that money forever. While you can argue that the money going to the government is not being spent how we would like (certainly true, 100%) it IS being spent and when the gov buys gas or buys cars or builds missiles, the money is spread out among people and the economy. I want people to keep 100% of what they have but only up to a certain, high, amount. If you are going to argue that RWs children will need to sell the family manor in order to pay estate taxes..... That they may need to sell a 1 billion dorllar football franchise does not seem to me to be out of line or societal expectations.
  18. Pretty sure they will get dinged; they should do, anyway.
  19. Theisman is just fine and pitching away products like crazy. The rest of these guys got it real bad; Joe does not belong he is happy and rich and probobly does not even feel it when it rains.
  20. Probably up to a certain amount you are right. Even the first ten million should not be inheritance taxed. But after that it is completely appropriate to move money back into the public sphere and out of these private trusts for people whose families have not worked for many generations. They will still have yachts, you dont have to cry for them. But I agree, money earned in your own lifetime should be disposable how you wish it to be as long as it in not an a grossly obscene amount. Bill Gates has it about right, said he was giving 10mill to each child, the rest to charity. I think that RW has tit tough though because they will assess the value of his estate and the major asset is the team. So his heirs will be taxed on half the assessed cash value of the team, and either need to take out an expensive loan to fninance that debt, or sell the team and pay the taxes. That is what makes it next to impossible for him to just give the kids the team.
  21. As I noted earlier (but was ripped out by the adminitrator), she is an example of why the inheritance tax is a good thing.
  22. Clint was fine and playng again very soon after. He has a scar I am sure but the inury was not a blown knee and likely career ender as is Welkers injury. Clint shouold be proud of that day he is a true survivor. Anyway it is bad karma to revel in someone elses health issue.
  23. When he raises the money and closes the deal great he should pick the coach. Until then.....
  24. Kelly is not a coach or owner? Friction with Kelly should be relevant to the Bills selection process? Should we check with OJ too?
