Only 11 Minutes of Action in an NFL game
zazie replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing then how football is great fun to watch and baseball is truly the most boring sport on the planet. Along with Soccer BTW, that is extremely boring as well. -
While Warner is very religious too and constantly thanks God for every good game, he does it with enough respct for other people to not push it too overtly to the point that he is prosyletizing. A super-bowl commercial about abortion? THAT sounds like an abortion.
-
This is the worst ever. I feel like we are right back where we were last off season, little to no hope. Frazier>>>>Fewell>>>>>>Gailey. Nix is a senile old man. Brandon is a marketing guy, why does he not step in and avert this despicable move????

Tim Tebow is taking his star power to sport's biggest stage. The former Florida quarterback and his mother will appear in a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl next month. The Christian group Focus on the Family says the Tebows will share a personal story centering on the theme "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life." The group isn't releasing details, but the commercial is likely to be an anti-abortion message chronicling Pam Tebow's 1987 pregnancy. After getting sick during a mission trip to the Philippines, she ignored a recommendation by doctors to abort her fifth child and gave birth to Tim. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner ended his college career with several NCAA, Southeastern Conference and school records, and two national championships. Tebow also has been very involved in his family's Christian-based ministry. Jim Daly, president and CEO of Focus on the Family, said the commercial comes at a time when "families need to be inspired." "Tim and Pam share our respect for life and our passion for helping families thrive," Daly said. "Focus on the Family is about ... strengthening families by empowering them with the tools they need to live lives rooted in morals and values." Thirty-second commercials during the Super Bowl are selling for between $2.5 million and $2.8 million. Daly said all the funds for the ad came from a handful of "very generous and committed friends," and that no money from the group's general fund was used. "Now that the ad has been shot, we're excited to tell people it's coming because the Tebows' story is such an important one for our culture to hear," he said. "You won't want to miss it."

Where I live the games are shown commercial free it is a blessing but you see the downtime really clearly; the station logo comes on for mintes at a time. Then, they re-show the games several times without any commercials or cuts its great like TIVO without having to physically jump over the commercials. By the way, the NFL "gift" commercial time to Haiti, was that any good? I felt the whole idea was very self serving they should have given cahs money rather than 'free' commercial time in order to ask the fans to pony up (so they would not have to). -
Oh, Gee, Umm....OK. Righto. Keep dreaming.

Well that is coming with the demise of RW and the consequent move of the Bills to Toronto/LA/San Antone

sorry, replied to the wrong post. Anyway now I go back to football on this board

Fox News is the antichrist. Who else could blame Bill for an economic collapse that happened EIGHT YEARS LATER, when the real culprit BANKRUPTED OUR COUNTRY?????
-
Henry Paulson=ex head of Goldman Sachs=made sure TARP went to Goldman=made sure Merrill Lynch got saved at huge shareholder cost AND got their bonuses too=Bush head econonomic advisor. They support all politicians, idiot, they are Goldman Sachs. Back to Fox News please, you foolish sheep, get off this board UNLESS YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL please.

One thing for sure, if even the Bills aren't considering him, he may never work again!
-
OR, maybe Adam James is just an entitled little prick who took the wind out of TTs sails for the next who knows who long, and his father is a creep and an ahole. Hmm, maybe thats it. Leach was a winner and his players graduated every time, that is huge. That said he is not a fit for HC as the Bills
-
of course not. But maye they should kill the guy they draft?
-
OOOPS - you did say it. Ice cold. The guy the bucs draft with that pick will forever be the guy that was traded for a dead guy. But perhaps a little early to be saying it.

Ok, now can you shut your mouth on this board please? Mr. effing Sarah Palin get pregnant when you're ovfer 40 and KNOW you're not going to get an obortion no matter what, and now society is saddled with a basket case forever? Mother of unwed teen, CONSERVATIVE? This is your candidate, thank god Obama won no matter what, over that lunatic who would have been one heartbeat away. ABOUT THE BILLS....

PLAYOFF RESULTS WORKED IN THE BILLS FAVOR

I think we need to wait for Frazier -
I am kind of anti Jets and anti Colts since they were both division foes for a long time.... but I have to rout for the Colts to beat NY, and NO to win against Brett, and NO to take it all. In a best case scenario. But that is why they play the games.

Buffalo Bills Talent Evaluators

EVERYTHING HE DID, HE DID BADLY. Really, without exception. DJ is a clown. Happy that Perry got the job that DJ was reportedly being considered for. -
Take it somewhere else please Mr. Fox News. W. started us down this path by putting us in 2 wars, taking a massive surplus left by Bill and turning it into a massive deficit, and the overseeing the destruction of our economy in the months before leaving office. And also, HE started the HUGE bailout program (ie socialism) to ensure his butt buddies at Goldman Sachs got massive bailout plus the pay-through from AIG which was essentially free money for them. Now, about the Bills.....

Wade is a goner. Frazier to the 'Boys.

Go Bills!
