You could not have found cheaper hires than Brandon (St. John Fisher grad, groomed and promoted in house) Nix (70 year old with no previous experience at this level, ever; been a scout before and a long time high school coach) Gailey (out of work mediocre college coach; working for less than even Frazier would have I am sure) There is no significant hire RW ever makes that is not 100% financia related. 10 years of no playoffs. You get what you pay for.

RW does not like Marty and prefers Chan that is 100% for financial reasons. 100% about money.

Chan had all last year to Honeymoon. You know, when he was not working? He is a step down from Fewell and certainly from Frazier. But anything is a step up from DJ, right? Nix>Gailey>Levy+DJ. Right? Right? Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is BS, most would have been happy with Frazier, and satisfied with Fewell even. Gailey is a mediocre college coach that has not worked in a year. The Bills FO could not have chosen worse. Par for their course. It is really incredible how they manage to squeeze the absolute worst out of an admittedly bad situation.

Last opffseason I was completely deflated and void of hope. I was so looking forward to Frazier or even Fewell. Now, I am re0void with hope. This is a terrible hire, Nix is an alzheimic ahole. RW is clearly an old school racist.

They both got what the market would bear and good for them. Now Drury is just an aging mid level performer, and Briere is no question, a huge dissappointment for Philly fans. We stung them TWICE, they also got to pay a first rounder and huge bucks to the ex Buffalo player, Jason Peters. Beef on weck>philly chees steak. That's 3!

The sabres are a well run organization. They could not comopete with Philly and other big spending clubs so we took our knocks and lost Drury and Briere over one off season. And the GM and coach re-vamped with the style of players we had, added some good guys, drafted well, signed the BEST player we had then (or now) to a good contract, and, waalaa, we are on top again. This is good team management. BTW neither Drury or Briere has blossomed into a true star since.

When the Bills don't hire idiots like Nix, and then losers like Gailey. I hate to sound flippant but someone needs to test Nix for the onset of alzheimers.

Our superstar is Ryan Miller. We got one. The balance on the rest of the team, plus guys getting called up and scoring in their first NHL game etc., bodes extremely well. I see a Buffalo tour for the SC this year! I see no hope whatsoever for the Bills. What the hell are they doing anyway? Man is it sad.

In first place overall, with a VERY balanced team, the best goalie in the game at present, and great talent ready to be utilized in Portland...plus Coach Ruff; if there was ever a time for optimisim this is it. Go Sabres! FU, Nix!!!!!!!!!!!!!
