I would Have the F.O. bring in Mike Martz as an Offensive consultant to AVP, similiar to Tom Moore new position with the Colts. Leave the defense up to Perry/DIck. The O. Line is inexperience and no one is willing to let them mature in a year or two, they want them ready next week, so do I, but that is not going to happend. Martz is available and has the knowledge AVP needs to learn to be really affective..I am not giving up on Tret, he has the Tools, This is his third O.C. In 3 years , look at how long it tkaes to learn new system & watching tape with Mike Martz & AVP would help his game develop. Any thoughts? jim kelly isnot a O.C. or coach so those posters who call for him need to halt & pray he can organize a solid group for the future of this teams ownership once Ralph passes. remember this O.line is very young, suc ks but the they may pan-out.....I hate patients , I want a Super Bowl victory too!

This was the first pre-season game. It by know means shows what will happen this year it is strictly about talent evaluation. I think the upper management will get Maybin signed this week, he is a pass rusher, missing some of training camp will not effect him getting to the QB. The Bills Offense will not show its full potential in the preseason anyway. Look at the Cardinals, last year during preseason (2-2), their Off/Def gelled after Thanksgiving. I think many fans need to check themselves until the first week of Oct. before panicing. Their will be a few lineman who will hit the waiver wire that may fit what we do. If not the coaching staff will feel the heat. I would like to see the no-huddle become the mainstay on our team. As for the Off. Line roll Edwards out of the pocket as the the Redskins did in the early 1980's to protect Theisman, it worked. We have plenty of options, and some talented DB's. I also liked Justin Jenkins & Nic Harris' play last night.Any thoughts?

This is a sad day for the Eagles & Johnson family. This man loved football and was an excellent teacher to many players. I hope the HOF allows him in next years. R.I.P. the football world lost a great man whether your a Eagles fan or not..

Replace him with Tony Dungy, best man available. He would bring great character and the players would play for him. He has just as many Superbowl wins as Mike Holmgren.

I said this 2 months ago a 3-year deal worth 5 million a year and a signing bonus of 5 million. In total, the deal is 3 years 20 million. He is an elite physical specimen and a marketing tool like know other. I say get this deal done today. he is better than 75% of the receiving corp even at 36 or 37 y/o.
