  1. Well the league changed special teams rules last off season and April couldn't adjust to the rule changes at all. April was great, but who says he is gone for sure? The next coach will determine his future unless he is signed by a new team between now and then.
  2. Jauron was chosen over him, nuff said.
  3. Look everyone, it looks like we have a psychologist on our hands. Apparently he thinks he knows what climate EVERYONE likes to play in. Do you have any studies or polls that prove your statements? Please I would like to see them
  4. Belicheat is an hot tempered idiot. Things don't go his way he always gets defensive. Kinda like when he loses a big game he never shakes the opponents hand then he doesn't answer questions at press conferences or he blames the referees for a few minutes then walks away. Hes only happy when his cry baby QB is protected and gets the calls he wants when he cries to the referees for a call Casserly doesn't have to be at their practices or games to say Brady has broken ribs or injured ribs. Its called sources. They are both fools anyways
  5. Haha, you continue with your far fetched statements.... Willis McGahee never said anything about the weather climates, he complained that there was nothing to do in Buffalo. If you had a clue you would know that
  6. You must have been drunk when listening to the interview. I see no problems with his sentencing and his grammar. Or maybe you watched a different interview. And your complaining about him being 70 years old? Bill Parcells is the same age and so are a handful of key front office people across the league.
  7. Please provide us a link to where it says Shanahan has signed with the Washington Redskins
  8. Lol. I didnt give him credit for them? I listed names in the same draft class as Aaron Maybin, whom you consider Nix's fault. Which shows even if Nix had a big say he drafted more successful picks than he did failures. Even though the Maybin pick shouldn't be judged as a failed pick yet. And Nix is responsible for the San Diego draft's. He was in charge of scouting and he was the Assistant GM of the Chargers during his stay. A.J Smith has even said that Nix was largely responsible for the drafted players.
  9. Thats how I feel as well.
  10. Aaron Maybin- 22 years old, used the wrong way in his rookie year and has upside if coached the right way and in the correct position. How do you count that against Nix? How about Levitre, Wood, Byrd last year. How about guys like Merriman, Marcus McNeill, Vincent Jackson, L. Tomlinson and Antoino Cromartie he brought into San Diego Remember Nix didnt really run the Bills draft last year. Brandon, Juaron and Modrak did
  11. Barely 1 year is 5 years out of the league? Nix is one of the best scouting gurus in the league. he knows how to draft. He has also worked with a nice list of people like: Polian, Butler and A.J Smith... Im sure he learned some things along the way. He will be around for 5-10 years at most maybe but he will at least set up a good foundation and possibly groom someone to replace him
  12. I guess the Giants will have an explosion of DB's on the roster soon enough and a undersized LB corps and Defensive Line
  13. You cant tell a bunch of excited and playoff hungry Bills fans to relax on a big event like this
  14. If say Marty Schottenheimer took a position in the Bills front office then Brain is almost guaranteed the HC job I think.
  15. If Billick came here, he would need to be accompanied by a good Offensive and Defensive Coordinator
  16. A few of them will be back once a new head coach is hired i am guessing. But not many
  17. Anyone have any opinions?
  18. Bills Fans, I am new to the Bills forums in the aspect of posting but I have been reading these forums for a good two years. I want to make this topic to ask fans what choices for coaching and front office and their reasons why. Lets start with the two front office positions: 1.) Head of Pro Player Personnel- I would really love to see Marty Schottenheimer in this position. He says he doesnt want to return to the sidelines but he has never decline interest in other football positions. Players like him and he is respected around the league. He knows talent when he sees it. I think he can easily persuade some high level free agents to come to the Bills based on his track record and depending on who the head coach is. I think if they hire for this position first it will help Head Coach candidates with their decision. I think this could help persuade Cowher to the Bills. 2.) Head of National Scouting Department- People will call me out on this but.. I would like to see Tom Modrak here. He had great success in Philadelphia. The problem is that he has been over voiced by guys like Tom Donahue, Russ Brandon, Marv Levy since he has been here. His success in Philly shows he can scout. He just needs a better team around him. For me there are 3 names that I have like for HC. They are: 1.) Bill Cowher- His success coaching in the NFL is is hard to match. Not many coaches in the past 15 years has enjoyed the success he has had with getting to the playoffs (Only Schottenheimer, Dungy and Bellicheck can match). He knows how to get his players focused and prepared for games. Knows how to build a tough physical defense and a tough physical running game with big blockers up front. He can put together a top notch coaching staff. I could definitely see Dick Lebeau following him to Buffalo to be Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator. If Marty Schottenheimer is in the front office I could see Brain coming over to be Offensive Coordinator and groomed to become the next head coach. 2.) Brain Schottenheimer- If his dad does take a front office position I would love to see Brain here. I think Brain is a up and coming coach in this league. Taking away a divisional rival's offensive coordinator and their franchise QB's mentor would be huge. He has the coaching gene and he can learn tips from Marty. He is a decent QB mentor and he has success at running the ball.I wouldn't doubt if a few of his offensive positioning coaches came with him. 3.) Russ Grimm- I like his attitude. He can coach. Has success at building up the O-Line. You know that under him he will build starting with the trenches first. Russ would be sure to have a tough physical relentless team fielded every down of every game. I really think he is a future HC and will be a successful one. Other Names I would accept: Ron Rivera and Marty Schottenheimer (I would love it but he said he wont coach) and Brain Billick would be my 6th choice. GO BILLS!!!
  19. Schefter used to be a good reporter before he took the gig at ESPN. I wish He stayed on at the NFL Network because it seems he has became more of a biased reporter since the switch. This is all speculation, no one truly knows what the heck is going on with Bill Cowher except for Cowher himself. People like Schefter and Mortenson and King and Jason Cole like to think they know what is actually happening. But realistically they are just speculating what they think and what their inner circle of so called "gurus" think will happen. Cowher on CBS on Sunday said he would not comment about coaching to anyone, what makes people think he decided to make a decision just 24 hours later?
